Beautiful State park with rich history. 2 ponds great for fishing. Port a johns, and bathrooms open on the weekends and holidays. A few walking trails. 2 pavilions and a building available with permit for parties/receptions. Play equipment for the kids and beautiful wooded area with small stream... Bigger if heavy rains recently. A fresh spring with delicious water ready to drink right from the spout! A family favorite for picnicking, camping (with permit) and fishing. A great way to spend a an after noon. Park open from dawn til dusk.

Important local history and an old fashioned children's playground.

Nice shelters and playground, but bathrooms were locked up. Had to use a port a potty! 😷
