Shaare Zedek Congregation established in 1953 is a traditional synagogue based on Halakah, embracing Conserva-dox style Judaism.
Our dynamic young clergy headed by Rabbi Alan W. Bright M.A. and accompanied by Rev. Yossi Even-hen are committed to our Mission of engaging our community in Jewish learning, spirituality and social activities.
At present, the congregation has chosen to remain unaffiliated and prides itself on being eclectic in its services. We draw extensively from the traditional liturgy, as well as from the Conservative approach to Judaism. We proudly daven using the new Koren/Saks siddur and the Etz Chaim Chumash. Shaare Zedek is an inclusive Jewish congregation that offers a warm welcoming, nurturing and enriching home to those who seek a meaningful and enduring connection to Judaism.
We are blessed with a vibrant and active membership of all ages who find meaning and commitment to synagogue life. Our doors and hearts are always open to our members, non-members and visitors alike.
