The food at 17 restaurant was simply marvelous. We ordered, and the food was out very quickly, even though the restaurant was decently busy. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger, and it was one of the best burgers I've ever had. I highly recommend getting the special house sauce on the burger. The French fries were also incredible good. Overall, I'd say that I would go over 100 miles out of my way to eat here. Kid-friendliness: The staff were really nice to my little brothers, who I was dining with at the time.
Wow!!!!!!!! Hubby and I stopped for supper on our travels. One of the best meals I've had in a while. Ordered the special Lemon Chicken with wine sauce . Hubby had the fish and chips. Very generous portions and great prices. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!
Excellent diner. Nice portion, reasonable prices. Food came fast and service was excellent with a smiling server and good small town attitude. I enjoyed my dinner and craft beer and topped it off with a nice piece of homemade coconut cream pie. Restaurant was full of chatty, friendly locals and working men, that’s always a good sign. Would not hesitate to go back.
I was here for dinner and came back the next morning for breakfast. The food was great. For dinner I had the Shepherd's Pie and bacon and eggs for breakfast. Both the evening and breakfast servers were very friendly and attentive.Food: 5/5
My favourite restaurant, great service, portions and prices. I've been here many times and I'm a fan of the sandwich menu and great breakfast. They also have the option of home bread, definitely recommend.
Good was delicious. Everything is homemade. My husband ordered the fish and chips and the fish was delicious, fries are hand cut. I had the clubhouse sandwich with homemade brown bread, and fresh cooked turkey. My kids had spaghetti and a burger and fries. The meat sauce was homemade - not from a can or jar! Can’t recommend this place enough. Great food and service!
We loved our standard breakfast and kitchen sink omelette! Honestly the best breakfast ever and prices were phenomenal! I own a cafe and this was a 5 star experience for me!
I love this place. Great prices, fresh baked whole wheat bread you can choose store bought if you prefer, cheerful locals either franco-ontarien accents and a view over the road to the lake.
Honestly best wings Iv had by far , and Iv ate at many restaurants!, The breakfast was good as well and the taco burger was delicious with a real beef patty! Everything was well priced and the restaurant it self had a great atmosphere inside, and very clean washrooms , the only constructive criticism I would give is the waitress to be more attentive when seating and checking in on tables however there was a back room so they may have just been busy there, even though, still got our food in a timely manner, highly recommend!
It has been two years since the pandemic having a Breky . We had 6 judges and we were all impressed with the service and food . Best post pandemic breakfast in town hands down . Home made bread , everything is on point . And like all great restaurants the owner is usually around working just as hard as the staff . Blind Rivers hidden gem .
