Our 1st night in Campbell River, we chose Sessio. To eat as they had good reviews. And they were well deserved.nWe had they BBQ chicken pizza between the 2 of us, and it was so good, followed by the mango and coconut cheesecake . We also had 2 flights of beer, and they were pretty good as well. Personally I really didn't lime the sours, but that's my opinion.nPrices were not to bad either. Our server was also cheerful and polite.nI would recommend trying this place. For people used to eating late evening, like a lot of Brits, Sessions closes at 8pm
We had an amazing dinner at Session! Drink menu is fantastic between the craft beer selection and cocktails. Pizza was top notch! Our waitress was so kind and attentive. We really liked the atmosphere here. Highly recommend!
Such a hip little place. Perfect for a late evening dinner. We spent four days in Campbell River and ate at Sessions twice.nFood and service the first night very good!! We had a custom pizza, feta dip and a couple drinks. It all was delicious!!nSecond night there were 4 of us. Ordered nachos, a couple pizzas, fish tacos and some drinks.nOne of the pizzas didn't seem to be cooked as well, it was soggy. I love fish tacos and since they advertised their local lingcod tacos, I had to try them. Not the best. They were very water and the fish...ehhh blah. I was disappointed.nService started out great, but slowly the waitress came by less and drink orders took longer.nIt's a great place and we would definitely go back!
Session Taproom is a gem of a bar and eatery. It has a great atmosphere. The staff are so friendly and helpful. They recommended some very good local beers and lager. We ordered the fully loaded chorizo pizza made on site, and it was one of the best pizzas I've ever had. Session was so good, we went back the following night.
Good food. Good people. We were passing through the town and came here for lunch. Enjoyed it! And went back for some more for dinner. Honestly didn't expect much from this town but was pleasantly surprised. Great ambience too.
