Here every weekend and previously had a membership. So much always happening, lots of parking and the facility is so clean. Basketball, soccer, hockey, ringette, wailking/running track, swimming, kids play park and so much more. A beautiful facility.
A great recreation center with all the amenities you need! Equipment is well organized every day. It's never too crowded in the track area or weights section. Wonderful for keeping in shape.
I don’t know why they let this pool facility become so run down the change room floors are constantly dirty with wet Kleenexes and body hair. All the changing cabins are leaving rust streaks on the floor. The family change room locker area isn’t nearly big enough. They still have $0.50 lockers so if you forget something you gotta pay the $0.50 again to get back to your stuff. When 2/5 showers actually work. When you get in the pool area, you look down and all the tiles look like they haven’t been cleaned in MONTHS! Even in the kiddy pool, you step on weird particulates as you wade with you kid. The grout looks terrible. The water slides are nice at first glance. But wait, when you start getting closer, you see way more rust streaks on absolutely everything. There’s black mold in the steps. The draft in the entire pool area is more than noticeable when you compare it to some of Edmonton’s facilities. The rest of the building is okay but if you plan on going to a nice pool, this is definitely NOT the first one I would recommend. It cost be almost $18 dollars for one adult and a 2 year old and let’s just say I won’t be going back again until they do something with the maintenance.
Only thing that would make it better is if all the fountains were on. But maybe they are doing maintenance? My kids had a blast either way. Always nice to go swimming on a cold winter evening.
A place for everyone! You can swim, skate, play basketball, pickleball, volleyball, grab a coffee and meet up with friends. It's really a great place to burn off energy and be active. There are always great programs and staff are friendly and very helpful!
Great staff, so much to do for the day. Pool was the FAV. Skating rinks and soccer courts were fun. Love the run lap at the top and booster juice was delicious.
Have had a yearly membership since 2019, made numerous inquiries into the cleaning requirements , change rooms are unsanitary , hair, lint on floor , urine smell . Just keeps getting worse when i asked, i was told the change rooms were cleaned every 20 min, thats not happening !!! some times we are there for 1.5 -2 hrs and change rooms are not cleaned at all in that time span. Fountain park is way cleaner but closed for Reno's so discontinuing my family member ship.
I signed up for the fitness area. It is often difficult to get on some of the more popular machines. It would be nice if they got a few duplicates to avoid this issue. Otherwise it's pretty good.
Great rec centre but rude and snotty front desk people. No customer service at all, even rolling their eyes on us with just a simple question. They look miserable with their jobs hope they’re okay. Cancelling all future bookings with this facility.
Met my future wife here while loitering when I was a 14 year old with nothing better to do. Thanks for not kicking me out! Looking forward to bringing our kid to the pool when he's a little older. :
