Story

Welcome to Servus Credit Union Place! We are a community and family-oriented facility providing sports, recreation and leisure opportunities. Our members and guests enjoy a wide range of registered and drop-in programs in fitness, recreation and ice.

With 320,000 sq ft of recreation and leisure space, Servus Place is also home to a variety of sports leagues, annual tournaments, opening/closing ceremonies, training camps, trade shows and special events.

Servus Credit Union Place includes:
- Fitness area, including weight room and fitness studio
- Running track
- Water play area and pool including water slides, hot tubs, sauna and steam room
- Two multi-use field houses
- Child-focused areas including playground, leisure ice, and child-minding service
- One multi-purpose gymnasium with three full-size basketball courts
- Three NHL-size arenas

Servus Place in St. Albert is an awesome facility with so much to offer! It has a pool, gym, basketball courts, ice for hockey, and even a running track. I usually visit the gym and the pool, and both are fantastic. The gym has a great environment clean, well equipped, and not too crowded. The pool is just as great, with that amazing blue waterslide and two hot tubs with different temperatures and depths perfect for relaxing after a workout. Plus, they have a Starbucks, Booster Juice, and plenty of vending machines for refreshments, which is super convenient. Overall, it's a top tier rec centre and always a great experience!
Reasonably priced, and lots of space. It was very busy but we still had room to swim around. There is a large pool that has varying depths so anyone from baby to adult can swim. They have a lane to swim in, lazy river, 2 waterslides, hot tubs, steam room, and sauna. There is also a viewing area for people not swimming. They have lockers for free to lock in the chang room and wallet/phone lockers in the hall. We didn't figure out how to use the wallet lockers for our phone and keys so locked it into regular locker even though it is not recommended. So not sure if the big lockers are broken into lots or if people don't know how to lock them? It's a great pool we will be back.
We went to check out the indoor playground and party rooms as I’m planning for a birthday later in the year. Staff was friendly and helpful, gave us a quick tour of the rentable rooms. The playground, on the other hand, was lacking. The website says it’s for

My husband and I just love this place.nnWe're both seniors. Combined age 153. When we buy our memberships, the second one is discounted.nnBecause we've been coming here for years, we get a further discount.nnWith the yearly membership, we each get two months free.nnAnd when we get sick or go on holidays, we can get our membership extended.nnMembership gets us access to everything in the building: the pool, the weight room, the track, the bikes, the drop-in programs. Everything.nnWe do aerobics twice a week and resistance training twice a week.nnThe instructors are excellent!!!!!!nnBut what we liked most about coming here is all the wonderful people we have met. Such camaraderie! Couldn't ask for more.
