I visited today to take a new photo and change address and renew driver's License and Health Card, plenty or parking spaces available, very spacious area inside Staples, the customer service agent was very helpful and very informative and very quick at what she does. In a very short time I was out of there and all my IDs renewed and photos taken.nnI forgot to ask her name but she was an absolute good vives and very friendly and very easy going and I strongly recommend this facility for your future service requirements
I’ve been to this location twice in the past few months. First time I wait 75 minutes and watched while the staff stood around and spent more time talking about breaks. This time I had an appointment. There were so many people there but I didn’t wait long. I was surprised that the person helping me took the time to have a conversation with the people next to me about their dog and the languages it speaks. She did apologize for delaying me but maybe she should have apologized to all the people waiting. Seems poorly managed and no respect to people’s time. This new system is worse than the old.
Not sure of its the physical location change or the management company running the Service office being customer service oriented but the experience was fabulous. You can walk in or book an apt. I walked in and was served in 5 minutes. Colin was incredibly helpful, efficient and friendly. Can't believe the difference.
Get ready to be bombarded with subliminal advertising when you’re even waiting to have your number called at Service Ontario thanks to the Staples location! Boy would I like a candy bar or two when I go to Service Ontario because the waits are now up to an hour! Chairs are conveniently placed by SO for their waiting room, but if you like to upgrade your seating on the staples side, you can choose some of the “ergonomic” chairs to sit in! I never knew I could pick up a some office supplies coming to a service Ontario!nnJoking aside, clearly staples is abusing the contract by conveniently placing products that are targeting SO customers which is a conflict of interest. I’m here to deal with the government agency and not with the retail giant.nnAlso I had the displeasure of working with Jocelyn, I brought my father here to help out. Jocelyn was rude and unprofessional interrupting me while I’m interpreting for my father and asking me if I’m gonna pay already as if I’m the customer. Jocelyn needs some more AODA training as she clearly does not understanding that she’s creating more of barrier by not being patient with the transaction. She also not once try to speak to my father and pretended his existence wasn’t there even though he was the customer at hand. This is what happens when you let improperly trained staples employees deal with government agencies that require a higher level of standard and service.nnThere was also a printer error causing me to wait more than an hour to process my request. They made me wait at the same counter even though a new one opened up. It wasn’t until I expressed that there was a free counter and asked to complete the process there. Very infuriating experience
