Terrible experience. The staff are extremely slow and don’t seem to care about people waiting for hours. Two employees were chatting for over 15 minutes while the line just kept growing. One worker disappeared into a back room for more than 40 minutes and only came back with a bottle of water. No updates, no communication, and no manager visible to manage the situation or at least inform customers about the wait time. Easily the worst service I’ve experienced.”
I was just waiting for 1 hour and 40 minutes at this location to get my driver's license picture updated, the phenomenal staff at this location decided that instead of following proper line sequence on a system that they set up........they decided to just let people skip the line who just walked in and slid into a empty spot at the counter instead of making them go to check-in and have a seat in the waiting area.....like the rest of us. Extremely disappointed in the staff at this location, it was honestly better when you had a regular lineup
This was my first time in the location inside the Staples and it was an incredible experience. Once you check in you can choose to wait for your turn or be texted so you can at least shop around while you wait. There was no line when I went and I was in and out in 4 minutes. Staff were friendly and incredibly efficient!
This ServiceOntario at Staples is a disaster. Helen, the so-called manager, is flat out unfit for her job. She was rude, condescending, and dismissive from the moment she stepped in. I came in with all legitimate paperwork for a vehicle transfer, the exact same process I have completed at other ServiceOntario locations without a single issue. Instead of helping, Helen cut me off, talked down to me, and treated me like I was the problem.nnHer attitude screams power trip and incompetence. It is shocking that someone this unprofessional is allowed to manage a ServiceOntario location. If you value your time, avoid this place completely and go to a proper government run ServiceOntario where you will actually be treated with basic respect.
There is room for at least THREE more desks to serve the public, but they are left as blank space, no extra waiting chairs. Add one in the corner and extend and data and electrical cables through a marked track raised for accessibility.nnAbout 2 hours of waiting... Don't come to this one unless you have planned the afternoon around it.nService in the booth was amazing and friendly for the circumstances.nnI also feel bad for the entire section of Staples merchandise that is engulfed by the people waiting and will never be seen by shoppers.
