I went to this location right when it opened. There was a very small line. Once inside, everything went fairly quickly. The service provided by everyone was excellent. David helped me with processing and made it a wonderful experience.nnPlease note that there is absolutely no signs or indication outside of the building anywhere that says there is a service Canada office inside the building.nThere is very limited parking and the only way I knew I was in the correct spot was the very small sign where customers can park that happened to say service Canada temp parking. If it wasn't for that open spot I would have no idea where it was.
I would like to give 0 star if I can. Everything is good except 3 hours wait. 20 people in lobby and only 1 lady help people set up appointments and only 1 stuff actually solve problems. I wonder if you only hire 2 people working why you guys have 7 service windows?
Sincere and friendly staff. However, understaffed and super unproductive. Only one counter is serving, and other people are busy for nothing. Too many coffee runs, unnecessary chit-chat with clients, or just walking around. There is zero concern over long lines and speeding things up. Unfortunately, this is the scene in any government service provider. No accountability at all.
The person who was at the counter was very professional. She is very informative and knew about the process well. We were given a time to come back to submit the application and very precise on time lines.
Wanted to avoid long lines at Harry Hays building so went here to apply for my partner’s passport. I tried to secure an appointment for days but it was impossible, so went as walk in. Not sure how only two gentlemen in the line were able to secure appointments.nOffice opening time was 8.30am, building opening time was 8.15am and there was a line building up already.nOnce doors open, waited 45 mins just to go to the front counter where they triage clients.nMost folks were there for passports, either renewals or new ones but there were no separate lines for each need clients may have. Wait time were over two hours and going up. ONLY TWO PEOPLE WERE WORKING, out of seven counters. Thankfully we were able to drop off my partner’s passport after giving the necessary details.nI know efficiency might not something these offices are striving for but they can do better for the tax paying citizens.
