Me and my wife came here to have our passports renewed this morning. Our appointment was at 10 am and we were greet by the agent at 10:03 am. She processed both of our applications in 30 min.... Basically, there was no wait time. Very impressive.. There were about 40 people waiting inside at that time.nIf you don't want to wait, make an appointment..
Lucked out and in and out in about 10min to renew my passport. Went within an hour of closing todayWednesday. Saw only two people sitting around waiting. Front desk lady seemed short and not into customer service but the woman who helped process my paperwork was very nice. If you aren’t in a rush to receive your passport; this is a good location.nUpdate: even with the looming mail strike my passport arrived 11 days later in the mail! I didn’t pay extra for express.
This center was a pleasure to visit. The person at the front desk did an excellent job of sorting those people who had appointments, those people who were applying for a renewal, and those people who wanted to apply for a new passport into the appropriate waiting area. My officer quickly identified the errors on my application and guided my corrections. Parking was adequate. In and out within an hour. Nice work everybody
Came here around noon in May 2022 on a Thursday to get my passport renewed and it took about 35 minutes to get the front of the line. I had forgotten a few things so I had to run back out and grab them. The lady who served me was very helpful and told me there usually wasn’t a line after 3 or early in the morning before 11. So I arrived back at 3:15 and there was zero line and I was helped right away. Staff was kind. I think this for sure beats going downtown. They are still running pretty high covid protocols and because of this they have a maximum capacity which means many people wait in the rain when there is plenty of room inside. Parking is pay parking but doesn’t seem to be strictly monitored.nOverall it was FINE. 4 stars is generous. Will update when I get my passport if it was indeed a 4 star experience haha. nn*updated. It took 4 months to get my new passport. And 10 months to receive my old passport back in the mail.
The stated parking price is $5.50/hr. I’d parked offsite and walked about 10 mins to avoid paying. You need to be here early if you want to avoid the long lineup. I was there at 7:35am and there were already 3 people ahead of me. By opening time, 8:30am, there were more than 20 people waiting behind me. Initially, there are 5 people working, 2 at the front counter and 3 agents. From the time I’d entered to leaving the building, it took less than 20 mins to complete what was needed to be done. Overall the people were nice and the experience was tolerable. Again, come here at least 30 mins early before they open to avoid any long line ups.
