Went in for a passport renewal and was out in less than an hour which I feel is very quick given how busy they are. The check in line looked long but went super quick, so I spent most of the time in the waiting area waiting for my number to be called. A few people weren’t paying attention and missed their number there are many screens around and there’s a ring when a new number has been called, so just be mindful of that. I got there at 9am on a Monday and was out the door by 953am. Make sure you have your documents with you as that seemed to expedite things. The staff were all super friendly and efficient- they are clearly working hard with a heavy workload.
The only thing holding me back from a 5-star rating was the wait time. To be fair though, I did check in around 10:30am, since I wanted to bypass the crazy morning rush at the office. The staff is pretty friendly, at least the ones I encountered. Although I had to wait for an hour for my turn at the counter, the service provided by Bert was exceptional - very polite, helpful and professional.
Dear Service Canada, your service is definitely great. However, please change this flag and I will change my 1 star review to a 5 star. This is Canadian Flag! And you are Service Canada! Let’s get a better one please.
Efficient, courteous and professional. I went in for passport services and was impressed by the service I received in a very busy environment. It was well organized and I was able to get in and out in about 40 minutes without an appointment. This is a well run facility and the staff were knowledgeable and friendly.
