Absolutely the best tea experience I've ever had, hands down. I've been drinking loose leaf tea for many years, and never have I been greeted with such kindness and knowledge, with a good bit of humor mixed in too. My partner and I sat down and tried many different varieties of tea and were immensely satisfied with the selections and teachings provided. I cannot recommend this shop highly enough, please do yourself a service and stop by. You won't regret it.
The owner is super caring of her patrons. She takes meticulous care of teas and ice cream orders to go. This place offers a full range of experiences all things tea related from classes, tastings, to tracking of teas you've tried, gift sets and a huge variety of teas. Stop in, you won't be disappointed.
I was introduced to this tea shop close to a year ago and love to visit every time I'm back in WA. Mako, the tea master, is so welcoming and knowledgeable! Definitely make time to set up a personal tea tasting. The selection of Chinese tea will be impressive for sure. Take a moment to admire all of the beautiful ceramic tea sets for sale and have a Boba tea to settle that sweet tooth. You'll be glad you did.
My husband and I went to Serenity Moon to get some bubble tea, but we stayed to do tea tastings. Mako gave us a detailed lesson on teas. She’s so knowledgeable and incredibly fun to talk to. We’re visiting the area from out of state, so we will definitely be returning to her shop when we come back.
This is the best bubble tea in town!! I love this place They also offer natural tea which is amazing for your health!! It’s a wonderful place and Mako is so knowledgeable of which tea is best for whatever health issues you may have or just to stay healthy.
Very helpful and informative lady that work there. The tea she made for me was the best. I sipped it patiently because I wanted it to last forever. I purchased a bag of tea and learned how to “cook” it. Added a new wrinkle to my beverage game. 10/10 even the roach I saw can’t effect the score!
this was genuinely the best bubble tea i've ever had!!! if i could give a 100 star review i would. the owner of the shop, mako, is so silly and kind and everything in there is stunning. when i went to order she gave me a lesson about what bubble tea really is and all of it was so fun. there's a lot of flavors of tea and syrups to choose from and several milk alternatives as well. she also sells all sorts of different teas, gorgeous tea pots and cups, and does tea taste testing events. i don't really live near kent but i definitely will make more time to come here!! please if you go in and enjoy your time, leave her a nice review on here. she deserves more publicity!! everyone come to serenity moon tea please, you won't regret it
I love this place, it is the best. Making is so sweet and the experience is amazing. She has so much knowledge about tea and the benefits of the different herbs. My family and I come here just about every weekend. She even has private tea classes as well. Not to mention the best boba in all of king county!!!
If you’re a true tea connoisseur you have to come to Serenity Moon Tea! I moved into Kent, Washington and tried so many places but none like here. If you want to try an abundance of teas from the world and have an amazing experience the owner really reflects the love and quality that comes in each beverage.
I’ve been coming to Serenity Moon since 2008 for bubble tea, loose leaf, and Mako’s company. She knowledgeable, funny, and very kind to her patrons. She always makes me this amazing creamy cinnamon black per’eh bubble tea. The best ever. She’ll also do tea tasting, where you get to pick a couple teas, then hang out while she teaches you about teas and how to brew them. I’ve learned so much during these. The couch is comfy to hang out and ice cream for the kids. You can’t go wrong visiting serenity moon.
