The staff at Serenity have made a a difficult time easier with their friendly and compassionate help. They have offered help even after my Dad's funeral to call them at any time if we need a chat and support. They never made me feel stupid for asking all kinds of questions. A big thank you to Carol and Rob for your support and professionalism.
Wrong coffin .Carol denied my mum. Asked for a bright red wicker one even though she charged my mum and extra 337.00 for it . Mum took out the plan ,I was present , mum pain over 4 grand in full . Having being given 6 months to live . Mum turned up in a ugly red ply wood box . Even though I had been in and spoke to Carol the day after my mum died . To finalise details . Carol then lied about not knowing about the wicker coffin . Complaint put in investigation etc , partial refund given to mc millian nurses . As Carol did know but ordered the wrong coffin . What hurt the most is I'm grieving my darling mum and she can't be honest about a mistake . We are all human after all . Just be honest and kind . Don't lie to a grieving person .that's just cruel .

Amazing service from the very first visit. Thank you to all the staff but particularly Carol and Steve who were professional but also caring and answered all our questions. My Mum was treated with dignity and given the tribute and care she truly deserved. We cannot thank you enough.
My father had a wonderful funeral, a day for us to remember thanks to serenity. Carol seemed to really care about us from the first phone call. And as for Steve looking after my father whilst there and working above and beyond his duties... sorting out special requests for us we are so grateful. Everyone showed great respect on the day. I was dreading it but came home so thankful my father had a lovely send off Thanks serenity.
Nothing but praise for Serenity. Every stage was careful managed with great empathy , professionalism and dignity . Nothing was too much trouble for them and they made the loss of our loved one just that bit more bearable . Thank you and as this is the second time I have used your service , it was good to see that standards were not only maintained but improved .
I have been left devastated by Serenitys dealing with my partners funeral. As we were unable to afford a private funeral we were dealt with as though we just didn't care, Carol said if I was unwilling to pay then this is how it was and my questions were pushing boundaries. Bare in mind it was an unexpected death and we are both young and not rich. They also did not ask us about his ashes and we were not given the opportunity to keep them so my Geoff has been scattered not where he wanted and without us being present. They completely lacked respect for us just because they weren't getting our money and I would definitely recommend not using their services. If I could give minus stars I would. I am heartbroken and they've made it all worse.
Uncaring, unprofessional. They only care about the money. Go elsewhere if you can. They will hide costs until the final invoice. Also keep the ashes and don’t notify you. hurtful and shameful.
I can not fault Serenity in anyway at all, really professional in what they do and how they helped us with preparing for our late Mums funeral, thank you
The people at Serenity Eastbourne were both professional and caring in the organisation of our recent family funeral. I cannot reccomend them highly enough.
