My partner and I had a lovely dinner here a few days ago. We went early so it was not busy and we were able to look around at the local art work and photographs and speak to our server about them and the history of Rossport and the Serendipity itself. We started off with a nice wineboth white and red, excellent fresh bread that we dipped in oil and balsamic garnished with an olive and we both ordered the side Greek salads. Very tasty with a lovely homemade dressing and of a size that we certainly weren't left wanting. I suspect a full salad would make a meal on its own. My partner had an Alfredo pasta dish that she loved while I went with a baked local trout crusted with a cornflake , crispy coating that was very good.I would definitely order the same again as the fish was very fresh and well treated. We could not eat dessert so instead opted to take out an order of their cheesecake to enjoy later. Actually had it with our breakfast coffee which was a perfect way to start a day! ;- All in all we will be returning to the Serendipity when we are in the area. So glad to see it open again.
Lovely family restaurant in the beautiful, serene Rossport by Lake Superior. We made a reservation a month before and so had high expectation. We had lake trout and chicken breast. Both are good.
We stayed in the guest house and wow! It looks small from the outside but inside is beautiful. Very spacious and cozy. It's very close to the water and there is a nice little park you can go to, to take in the amazing scenery. This was my first time visiting Rossport and I will definitely be coming back.
A very pretty restaurant. We really appreciated the owner setting up a place on the patio for us to eat so we could bring our dog. I had the spanakopita and my husband had the trout. The trout was excellent and it came with baked potato and lovely fresh vegetables. The spanakopita was beautifully baked with home-made pastry. Great place to have dinner
Really sweet service, I had the baked trout, it was delicious! My brother had the chicken sandwich and said it was very good, as well. The garden is cute and the indoor seating is awesome! We had to wait a while for out food but that just means it was made fresh and we did not mind.
This place... Excellent! My family stopped in for lunch while traveling to our next stop along the lake. There was room across the street for the whole rig to park, which was nice. Super cozy and very friendly service. We sat out front on the patio and overlooked the lake while eating. The menus include a bit of history about the town, which was a nice touch. Great food and reasonable prices/selection. This is definitely a place we'd come back to if we're in the area again. Thanks for a great experience!

Delighted to find people with a love for good food, thoughtful service and beautiful gardens. The colors, art and decor in the guesthouse carry through the theme. Beautiful barrel ceilings in our room. The owners and wait staff stayed late in the cafe to wait for a guest who was delayed well after closing. Good people here. Not perfect, but all the better for it.
We would give this a 4.5 star rating if the option were available. The cottage we stayed in had great synergy! It was very colorful and comfortable....nice big, thick towels in the bathroom! We enjoyed our dinner at the restaurant. The portions were quite big! Overall, it was a pleasant place to rest for a couple of nights.
