Hopefully this helps bring change.... Walked in just before 7pm on a Saturday night with my wife and our 3 children. Multiple open tables available and we were seated by the door. We asked to sit at a different open table and were told no. I saw later the reason we were told no was so that employees could wrap silverware. About 5 minutes went past and another group of 2 came in and were seated. Another 5 minutes past and still no waiter at our table while the group after us had their order taken and drinks arrived. Another 2 minutes and our waiter arrived. We ordered drinks and we were told they did not have root beer even though we showed it to him on the menu. We tried ordering and were told that we couldn't have multiple items that were on the menu. Asked for ground beef and grilled chicken for our kids and were told they were not available... after my wife ordered Fajitas with grilled chicken and I ordered a burrito with ground beef. The last straw before we left was the waiter telling us that how we were trying work around him telling us they didn't have things for our kids and ordering other items was that he told us it would be expensive for us and we wouldn't like that. We offered to pay for our chips and salsa and left $$$ for that. On the way out I asked the host if there was a manager on duty to speak with and he said yes. Then walked over by his coworkers who were wrapping silverware. After a couple minutes no manager came and I joined my family in the car. Again hopefully this brings change so the next family has a better experience.
Usually love this place, not so much anymore. The owner had an attitude towards us from the moment we walked in. It seemed as though he was annoyed that he had customers. I understand that being short staffed and having to serve tables as an owner is not ideal, but show a little bit more respect to your customers who are keeping you in business in the first place. Thanks, hopefully our next experience is better so I can change this to a 5 star review, but for now we remain very disappointed.
Best Mexican food in town. I recommend the enchiladas verdes can be quite picante and the grande burrito with steak and jalapeño crema. Also can’t go wrong with the sizzling fajitas. The entire menu is good with more than a few unique, authentic items you won’t find anywhere else. Plus friendly service and interesting artwork make this a great place to dine in. It’s no wonder Senor Tomas has been a local fixture for years.
Wait staff did an absolute poor job. Waited on the other side of there little wall and had to get up and flag down the waitress. Go somewhere else with better service. Would not recommendFood: 3/5
I won’t even waste my time sharing in depth details. Food not prepared as noted on the menu and even worse… ZERO customer service when we were the only customers in the place. Not one to be so harsh but will not be back!
Terrible overpriced tacos 4 orders with diet cokes $85 for a quick lunch! They hide the fact they add a18% tip and ask for more ! It use to be really nice ,to bad it changed.
Had very friendly service and amazing food tonight. It seemed like I was the only one in the restaurant which is very sad to see. The Yelp reviews are disheartening & deceiving. Be patient and know that they are doing their best!
Great little place for dinner. Quiet environment, good food, yummy drinks, and good service. It's right around the corner from my office so easy to order and grab take out on the way home to feed hungry boys.
Always friendly. Always good food at decent prices. From dating to family dining, it's hard to do better.Food: 5/5
They added on additional money to their tip on a carryout charge after I tipped them. 31% tip total. I hope the $10 was worth losing a $50-100 weekly customer.
