Omg, this place is a real GEM! They have so many pasta options, it was real hard for me to decide. I went with the Spinach Manicotti and let me tell you it was the most amazing-ly delicious pasta dish I have ever had! Oh and the sauce! The sauce was SO sooooo good!! The menu said it was a tomato cream sauce, literally heaven in a bowl! Wait, did i mention the sauce? Lol! My friend had the Gnocchi Alla Spizzico which has their pesto cream sauce; I had a taste and it was also very delicious, another great sauce! We couldn't decide which one was better, both so beautifully flavored!! The salad it comes with was so crisp! I couldn't finish my meal but I wanted to eat more, ---yup, it's that good! This was my first time eating here and I cant wait to go back and try more food items! Look no further, this is the place to eat at! You order at the register/pay and they run it to your table. The staff was very friendly --thanks gentlemen! Definitely recommending this place to everyone. Thank you Spizzico for an amazing dinner!
From Indiana and visiting family in Melrose Park we searched Italian food and came across this true family friendly GEM. The prices were VERY reasonable and excellent tasting. You could taste the homemade sauces Ravioli, Pizza Bread, Soup, chicken w/pesto sun dried tomatoes pasta, Garlic & Olive Oil pasta. All were wonderful!!!! You order at the counter and the staff were friendly and polite as can be. We expected to serve ourselves when order was ready but they brought it out and checked on us multiple times. So friendly and thanked us for coming in. The kitchen help was also very professional and nice. The variety of food was shocking Italian, Mexican and American. We LOVED Spizzico’s! We will be dining there every time we’re in town and I know they’ve won my families local business. Thanks for being such genuinely authentic great people!!!
Their pizza is mediocre. Lots of competition in the area for pizza. One of the nice things is that you can get pizza by the slice.Recommended dishesSlice of Pizza

Bad experience with the waiter broccoli was raw couldn't even put a fork through it told the waiter he had no emotion he asked me if I wanted to take it home I didn't say anything when I told the front desk they asked me who it was I didn't know his name and they should have just taken it off the bill but they didn't so I won't be back everyone told me how great it was but it was too salty and I've had other places that were better
Got delivery. Fettuccine was very yummy. Dessert was delicious. Prices are great.
Great food! We sat outside it was a beautiful day! All the food was delicious. Employees were all so nice and helpful. Made us feel like family! We ordered an assortment of food. Wings, calamari, salad, eggplant parmesan sandwich and even steak tacos with rice and beans. We will definitely be back soon.
We got a slice of pizza was old and cold. Guy said was fresh 25 minutes old more like 25 hours old worst pizza I had 711 had betterFood: 1/5
The server had a great sense of humor and made us feel relaxed and at ease.
The staff was nice and the restaurant itself is very cute. BUT the food was so incredibly bland that it was really not that enjoyable. The portions are huge, but I would have preferred a smaller seasoned dish than what tasted like sauce from a can. The best thing was the salad because the vegetables were fresh. Sorry but it’s just not worth $15 for a flavorless pasta dish.
