In 1853, life was simple and pure. Walk through the door of Tiffin's first millionaire's home, which was built in 1853 and now houses the Seneca County Museum, and experience life as it was then. Tour the 18-room Greek Revival historic home which displays everything from the life of a millionaire to the beauty of Tiffin Glass and other fine treasures. Be sure to save a few minutes to take a step outside to view the carriage house with antique fire equipment and horse-drawn wagons.

The Seneca County Museum is located at 28 Clay St. in Tiffin, OH, and is open from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays year-round, and from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. the first and third Saturdays of the month from April to September.

My grandmother lived behind this museum on Miami St. most of my life.. Went there numerous times thru her 30 some odd years there. I love all the houses in that area.. So well worth a visit or 2..
