Sites are narrow and long, no privacy what so ever, shared water and electric for most of the sites we saw and ours included. Right next to the busy boat launch. $48 a night is just to much. The close by pool was neat but doesn’t make me ever want to stay at this campsite again. We hoped a city run campground would have better shower facilities but we paid $8 to goto the pool and shower there. Won’t be back
Sept 2022, this is a very unkept park. Grass not cut anywhere except for a few lots that care. Motors being fixed on lots. Over crowding of cars. Speed limit is not followed, few more signs should be posted. Ofc has rules they pass out, but they do not follow what they wrote, and 95% of campers don't follow as well. Why bother, nothing happens.nSince City took over the park, it has declined to an unkept, underprivileged Park. Pretty sad..nSewage hoses left dangling from trailers with sewage coming out all over ground. They don't see or smell. Cannabis they don't smell, it stinks.nThe staffers ride around with blinders on for everything, so break the rules.nNo individual water spivets but some claim it as their's. Dumping station not septic tanks, and only free thing is the hydro, but that box is shared by four campers. No Wifi for campers. Big dog park that should be 1/2 the size then split in two for large and small furbabies.nLot sizes are adequate but some are a nice size. Open area for all sites. Lot sizes do not go according to trailer size, and even tents are on lots where trailers should sit. Office has no idea what they are doing.nOffice staff is very poor. They could have five in ofc, phone rings no one answers. They are only good for riding around on the gator, or deliver wood.nPublic bathroom could be locked to dry floors, use the one in your trailer, per cleaning staff.nBe very carefull of the staff, they protect their own at all levels, even if their staffer is wrong, no egg on their face.nSadly some Staffers have been there for a few years and still have no knowledge of running a Park.nRodeo is a big tado there, and that is when grass in certain areas get's trimmed down, looking good, neat and tidy.nDog walkers may or may not pick up dog waste, the dyke is horrible for that. There are nice trails on the dyke, good walking.nThere is a skate park outside camp ground, and a nice huge cement pool with a splash pad for the kiddos.nBoat launch for fisherman, and over dyke fishing.nIf you can look past the inadequacies of the park, you could have a good time..
Not full service - power only at site. Very loud all night on weekends but nice during week.
Main bathrooms were terrible. During fair and rodeo there was no control over parking in camp area. Last night of our stay a large group 10 plus moved in next to us!! Absolutely no control on how many are camping per site. The staff were very friendly.nThis is a great RV park, but needs a lot more control. If they don’t get on it fast it will become a trash park. Under the present conditions, we would not return!!
I stayed camp site for tent 2 nights. All staffs were nice and friendly but, there are some guests who are out of control. They had all night parties with 8 people who were guests with loud music and bad words. They did not care about neighbors and they did not listen to the security guards. I could not sleep well at all. All staffs need to take on this situations more.
