The Selkirk in took us in immediately after a bad car breakdown for two nights and even made room for us for a last minute third one. The rooms were very clean, great customer service and quiet. Location is lovely and overall a very positive experience! Definitely will return next time we are in Nakusp
The motel manager was so nice. Rooms are very clean. Beds were very comfortable and clean. The location to downtown made it easy to enjoy the community, go for walks, go out for a meal or go for a drink. We will definitely stay next time we travel through this area. Thank you!
The owner/manager here is the nicest guy!nnRooms are clean. Rags for bikes. Walking distance to restaurants and the lake. Not far from gas and carwash. Decent rates.nnI'll stop here every time we are on this route.
The owners were very kind and the rooms are nice and clean. The rooms had everything needed for a comfortable stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel!
BTW so many of their 5 star reviews are bought, look into them!!!!!nnI absolutely never write reviews but this was by far the most intense traumatic experience at a hotel I have ever had. I stayed there with my husband and our 3 kids. One of our children is a baby. We paid $260 for a “family room” .. I can handle outdated establishments what I can’t handle is extremely rude unprofessional owners/employees/cartakers. As a business owner myself as well as my husband we were shocked at the behaviour that took place on our one night stay at this hotel.nnThey loudly banged on our door at 11pm when we had been asleep for an hour and a half to warn us that our white noise machine for our baby to sleep was too loud and needed to be turned off immediately. This is the hatch from Amazon the most sold and popular noise machine for babies. After turning it down and checking to see if that was good enough the female decided to yell at me the broken english and miss communication was impossible to break through after I cried from being yelled at, woken up and told “no noise after 10 you get out now and leave” threatening to make me wake up my entire family and leave about 10 times while I was wearing my pajamas in the hallway I had to eventually 1 turn off my babies noise machine entirely and 2 get my husband as I felt threatened, vulnerable, belittled and exhausted.nDO NOT STAY THERE and support people like this.nnI’ve never had a worse experience in my life, not to mention we have stayed at over 15 hotels with our baby and this noice machine before.
