Close to parking and le Petit train du Nord. Lots of trails to chose from. Unfortunately had 2 separate experiences of bumping into big dogs not on a leash. One was actually chasing a deer and ran away from it's owner. Another one ran at me. Please keep your dogs in a leash, it's irresponsible otherwise.
Beautiful park for bouldering and hiking. Entrance fee was around $13 and there is parking . The bouldering problems were a lot of fun to work on, a few of them were graded lower than they should, anyhow it was very fun! Trails are very well maintained, there is a washroom at the entrance.
Great place for a hike or bike ride. There are a variety of trails from beginners to experts and the paths are very well maintained. These become cross country ski trails in the winter and there are also snow shoe trails. Nice rest areas and a good amount of washrooms. There is a lookout near one of the lakes, which is nice. Prepare water and snacks or get some chips and granola bars at the entrance for 2$. Entrance for the day is 8$ per person for adults over 17 years old. Highly recommended for a nice day out.
Great place for cross country skiing of all levels
Loved it. 2 amazing spots with a nice view. Others were just ok, but still enjoyed the hike. Staff is very welcoming and other hikers too.
Very nice place for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in winter.
Huge area of hiking trails of 3 difficulty levels. Choose any you like. We went for the first time with little kids and we'll come back for sure. It's a good city getaway to go and have some relaxation in the nature. Lac Amigo is serene - peace and quiet. Trails are well marked. There's a visitor center with washrooms and there's a big parking lot.
Excellent cross country skiing! We are beginners, our first season, and the "easy" courses were managed well kids, 10 and 7. Definitely not flat but the small climbs and downhills make things more interesting. The staff were very friendly and helpful, equipment rental was easy and quick.
Amazing paths, astonishing views. The snow was really good and well kept.
Nice parc, with various types of trails. Would be nice though that the residents of the municipality have year round free access... we give heavily through our taxes
