We tried their seafood plate. It had one piece fish, shrimps, scallops, clams and lobster. Everything was breaded, except for the lobster. The clams and scallops were great. The shrimp and fish were good. The lobster was not good, it was tough and leathery with no taste. They've a nice outdoor patio to sit. It was very busy even on a weekday but we got our order within 15 to 20 mins. Kid-friendliness: They've a huge outdoor eating area, perfect for kids. Parking: Lots of parking in the back
It's pretty obvious the target market are tourists who have never had fresh seafood. It was absolutely inedible. The fish wasn't fresh and the batter was soggy and oily. The scallops and clams were not cooked long enough, pale soggy and somehow rubbery. Battered shrimp was the same as the fish, soggy and dripping with grease. The lobster I'm guessing was microwaved as it was hard and rubbery. It actually stuck together in a clump we had to peel apart. They didn't have any french fries so they offered other options. We chose potato skins and they actually upcharged us for it even though it was an inventory level error on their part. They weren't even cooked. Seafood chowder was bland and the cream had broken. Hard to tell how many times it had been re heated to cause that. The tarter sauce sat out unrefridgerated on the counter as a self serve option. We couldn't even eat more than a couple bites before we lost our appetite and left. 45 dollars for a seafood platter and chowder we couldn't even eat. Very disappointed.
We had visited this location on our last stay at White point. That was during the pandemic and sadly we couldn't exactly get the full experience. The food was great and everything then but driving back, it lost some of it's flavor. This time however we were able to eat inside and it was extremely fresh. My wife must have spoken about 10 minutes about how fresh and crunchy the fries were. The fish was so fresh it was extremely flaky and delicious. The kids enjoyed their hamburgers much better than they did last time. This is definitely a place where if you're going to eat here, you have to eat it as soon as they prepare it. There's a night and day difference between eating at the location when the food is fresh versus eating after about 20 minutes of driving. The food is absolutely phenomenal
Fabulous food! Great service. Not licensed. We went 4 days in a row , it was that good. We will be back, next time we are in the area.
Nice stop on the way..claims, fish, ice-cream eat in our sit outside also take away very quick counter service. The sign says worlds best claims ,worth a try and you decide
It was excellent! We heard about it last year while walking our dog. It was too late in the season for us to go. In-laws in town and we made the trip, well worth it!
Great place if you love seafood. Their burgers are good too, real scratch, not preformed. Clam lover's paradise.
This place is legittttty. Big portions, crispy fries, fresh seafood.
My family lives 2 mins away and each week we look forward to our Seaside Seafoods Sunday Supper! We’ve tried everything Mom LOVES their club sandwich because they add the most delicious house-made chicken salad to it! 2pc fish with mash and peas is my fave! But they make a wonderful comfort food hot juicy turkey sandwich with mash and peas and THE BEST gravy! We only feel sad that they are soon to close until next season!! Thank you to the crew at Seaside Seafoods for your awesome suppers and INSANE AMAZING PIES!! If you’re lucky enough to get one before they sell out, consider yourself super lucky! Oh! and the coffee soft serve is THE BEST and the biggest cone you will ever find, they serve such a generous amount! Please understand they are wonderful people in a very popular local restaurant and are just trying their best to give you awesome lunches and suppers so please be kind and patient in their busy times! It’s well worth the wait! ——Jenn, Linda & Graham 195 Beech Hill Rd.
Best fish and chips ever. I suggest ordering a milkshake with it. The food is spectacular. Very generous with their portions. 100% recommend I'll be going again.
