Misleading and Overpriced – Not Worth $600/NightnnWe had a very disappointing experience at this hotel, especially given the $600 USD per night price tag—which felt completely unjustified. The marketing photos show stunning ocean views and skyline shots, but in reality, those views are only available in a few select units. Most rooms, including ours, either face a concrete wall or overlook neighbouring residential buildings.nnFirst night:nOur room faced a bright LED sign from the university across the street, which lit up the entire room at night—even with two sets of curtains. The area was noisy, and the room itself was tiny with an awkwardly large and unnecessary sink. It felt more like a $200/night room at best. After complaining, we were moved to a different room for the second night.nnSecond night:nThe new room had a severely loud AC unit that made it impossible to sleep. We called the manager, who visited the room and confirmed the issue. He admitted that the engineering team was aware, but there was no fix in sight.nnWe checked out the next morning and moved to a premium downtown hotel that was actually cheaper, quieter, and far more comfortable.nnBottom line: The views shown in photos are not what you get, the rooms are tiny and poorly designed, and the service doesn’t match the price. Save your money—this hotel is not worth it.
I stayed here for one night in April while I was visiting for a wedding from Toronto. I have never been to North Vancouver before so thought I'd give it a try and wake up on the other side of the ocean. The location is fantastic as you such a great variety of restaurants and to my surprise, I had no idea there was even a market. I truly enjoyed staying here and taking in the views. I was also in need of a car rental and the manager contacted a rental store closeby for me and had it arranged! I was super thankful for that as I attempted to get one at a couple rental places and had no luck. The biggest downfall though is that the rooms are extremely small! I paid close to $500 for my room. I believe there may have been some events happening that weekend and maybe the rooms were limited, but it was quite an expensive weekend for accommodation.
Current we are currently staying at this hotel until next 4 days , we have an amazing stay at this beautiful seaside hotel in North Vancouver! Lot of help ee received from employees especially helping my wife who has disability issue, The reception staff were incredibly polite, helpful, and went above and beyond to make our stay special. The hotel itself is impeccably clean and organized, with a stunning location that offers breathtaking views.nnThe hotel's proximity to the sea and the surrounding area made it the perfect base for our stay. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and rejuvenating getaway.nnFive stars isn't enough , this hotel deserves so much more! Thank you to the wonderful staff for making our stay unforgettable.
The friendliness of the staff definitely stuck out to me, they will all stop and smile to say hellos, definitely didn’t go unnoticed. The rooms are nice with lovely bathrooms but I agree with the reviews of the sink in the bedroom? Makes no sense and takes up what precious space you have.
The hotel was really clean — honestly, super clean — and the staff were very kind and friendly. One time we asked them to warm up some food since there was no microwave in the room. Instead of just heating it up, they actually brought a microwave and a little table to our room! That was really thoughtful and nice of them.nnBut we did have a couple of issues. First, we thought breakfast was a buffet, because the pictures made it seem that way. But it wasn’t — it was a menu where you could only choose one option. The food was fresh and tasted good, but it was small and not what we expected. One of the reasons we booked this hotel was the buffet breakfast, so we were a bit disappointed.nnAlso, the name “Seaside View” made us think we’d have an ocean view, but our room didn’t have any view like that — just a building right in front of us. I checked the layout, and it seems like only a few rooms actually have a sea view.nnOne more thing — the shared spaces like the lobby and restaurant are really small. don’t expect big or spacious areas.nnOverall, the staff were lovely and the place was clean, but for the price, we expected a bit more.
