We have stayed at this motel many times over decades. It has recently transitioned to new management, who have invested a lot into upgrades.nnThe location remains the best in Parksville. You come out of your room directly onto a lawn and play area, and from there right onto the beach - right on your doorstep. And the best beach in Parksville.nnI stayed in a couple of different rooms, and the upgrades are nice. Lovely, spacious walk in showers with rainheads and a handheld sprayer. Very large smart tvs, and beds with luxury linens. Nice little kitchenettes with a cooktop and apartment sized fridge, if you want to save money and eat in.nnThis remains my favorite place to stay in Parksville, especially if you can get a good deal, such as the stay 2 days, get 1 day free deal that I got this visit. I was a bit dismayed when I decided to stay for an additional three days that they would not simply extend the lower rate, and it was much pricier for the second set of three days.nnThe rooms are very clean and well kept. There was an invasion of ants in my bathroom, and I had to report it twice and wait for 2 days for it to be remedied, but it was.nnA few minor issues, such as the shower door kept sliding open, and the bedside lamp would not work properly.nnDefinitely a great place to stay, though.
Loved our accomodation. Booked rooms for friends out of town and they also enjoyed the experience very much.nTop of the line in bed comfort, cleanliness, and of course the view, gazebos and gas fire pits. Its a resort destination. The lounge with various coffees and hot choclate on cool days is such a nice touch as sell as the lounge space. Thank you to the most accomodating and friendly staff.
Stayed here in October 2025 and had a wonderful experience.nnI was sick, and needed a place to recover while travelling and booked 5 nights here. It was serene, and quiet, and they have very kind staff who were respectful of my need to sleep over those days and didn't disturb me, I enjoyed my stay here and actually was blessed to see an eagle catch a fish in the Salish Sea, which was astonishing to watch.nThe room - clean, tidy, generally quite nice and the beds are very comfortablenThe view - phenomenalnThe staff - respectful, friendly, accommodating, and diligent
I had such a great stay. 24 seven unobstructed views of the water is worth Every penny I paid. It’s a quiet little motel the staff was super friendly. The rooms were very clean… I would definitely stay here againnEasy 5 stars!!!
Lovely location with well equipped kitchen. Beds and pillows were superb. Not 100% on the toilet paper option but I appreciate a new concept. I do wish staff would have been forthcoming on remodeling, construction was annoying at times till I figured out I just needed to blast my Christmas carols louder.nThe Finnish suana and grounds were stunning. Let's keep this location a secret. Definitely would be back. Thank you!
