I recently had the pleasure of visiting Scuba Jays, a popular bar in town, and I must say that my experience was made even better by the exceptional service provided by Amy, one of the bartenders there. From the moment I walked in, Amy greeted me with a warm smile and made me feel welcome. She was incredibly attentive throughout the night, always ensuring that my glass was never empty and that I had everything I needed. Her knowledge of the bar's extensive drink menu was impressive, and she was more than happy to recommend some unique and delicious cocktails that I hadn't tried before. What truly stood out about Amy was her ability to engage with customers. She had a fantastic personality and was genuinely interested in getting to know her patrons. She effortlessly struck up conversations, making everyone feel comfortable and creating a lively and enjoyable atmosphere. It was evident that she genuinely cared about providing a memorable experience for each customer. Amy's professionalism and efficiency were also commendable. Despite the bar being busy, she managed to handle multiple orders with ease, never compromising on the quality of her service. Her attention to detail was impeccable, ensuring that each drink was perfectly crafted and presented. Overall, Amy's exceptional bartending skills, friendly demeanor, and genuine passion for her job made my visit to Scuba Jays an unforgettable one. She truly went above and beyond to ensure that every customer had a great time. I highly recommend visiting Scuba Jays and having the pleasure of being served by Amy.
My friends and I went there last night for a double date and we absolutely loved it! The server was super nice and the food was delicious tho it did take awhile for it to come but it was pretty busy so it was understandable. The drinks where delicious as well! Will be definitely going again!Food: 5/5
Had a great time. The staff was over the top friendly and nice to us. The drink specials were good and the food hit the spot. I would definitely go again.Food: 4/5
Service was great Really dug the gangsta rap vibes No food was being served at the time Wish their kitchen was open later; but aside that no complaints It was my 2nd time coming; and I enjoyed it a lot better with friends. Would say it's better to socialize at versus flying solo unless you are a regular and know others there already.
A friend and I stopped here quickly before a concert for food and were incredibly disappointed. The food was some of the worst I’ve had for ‘pub food’… our forks had existing food on them, and the washrooms were incredibly dirty… our server was attentive and nice but I would have preferred a granola bar from the car had I known.Food: 1/5
Would not recommend going here. Went here on a Thursday because my friends and I were hungry and curious. First impression is that it’s kinda dingy, we sat on the patio which was comfortable but the tables were not clean. The waitress seemed to be the only person working at the front, she was friendly but seemed inexperienced. We asked her about what beers she had on tap, but she didn’t know the name of the brewers only the flavours. She came back and told us that the drinks we all ordered were not available since the taps and gas had issues. The kitchen is also very understaffed as we got told there was only one guy working in the back. Chalkboard menu was written with a lot of spelling errors. They also didn’t have romaine lettuce available. Donair tacos were not good, smokie and bun were very dry, corn ribs were actually good, I ordered garlic parm fries and received regular fries. The parm fries took 30 mins to come out since they ran out of fries. Overall would not recommend this place to anyone. Do not go here.
Love this place, mean drinks and delightful staff. I live down the street and any time I’m entertaining there is always a stop off at Scuba Jay’s before or after the evenings shenanigans. I’ve consistently observed excellent service even if the place is packed to the rafters and they’re slammed you can see the staff RUNNING around. Can’t recommend it enough. Easy 5 stars.
Amy was an amazing server. Attentive, amazing service, always smiling and made sure i always had a full cup and a satisfied appetite. Quick to address any concerns i may have had to ensure a true 5-star experience on a weekend out. Highly recommened amy and the Scuba Jays staff.Food: 5/5
Couldn't stop ordering the margaritas. Lime and . Great with a side of whiskey. Super casual and friendly. Only dive bar in Kensington.
Celebrated our National baseball championship here and it was an epic night! Thanks for allowing a few shenanigans. Lisa and Amy were amazing! Awesome night!!! :Food: 5/5
