Most scuba diving classes are taught at Dutch Springs. We also cater to NYC residents with our scuba diving classes NYC events. Since NYC is nearby, a lot of of our customers are from NYC which makes it an easy way for aspiring scuba diving students to achieve their scuba diving certification, scuba diving classes and scuba diving lessons. With over fifteen years of experience we have found the perfect formula to help our aspiring students explore the amazing underwater world."

Michael is a wonderful instructor and I have learned so much in just my one open water certification. If you want to be certified by the best get your certification with scuba guru. Not only is the class very personal and catered to help you succeed, you are learning from a very experienced diver who goes into everything and anything about diving. Brand new diver with zero, I mean zero, experience - couldn’t have come to a better place for instruction. From the pool session to open water Mike & the team were thorough in explanation and patient in practical testing. They were calming and reassuring, while holding you to high standards to make sure you’re gaining full skill set. Went from getting certified for a trip, to asking about further lessons! Had a great time learning how to scuba with the scuba guru team! They were extremely knowledgeable, experienced, and able to answer any question. I was a little nervous about taking the lessons but they were a calming presence and made it a fun experience the whole way through!
Completed my Open water dive certification with Mike and the scuba guru team. Mike is really knowledgable and puts a lot of effort in making sure that his students understand every aspect of diving well. Had super fun learning from him and completing the dives in Willow Springs. Definitely recommended for everyone even if you are new or want to refresh your skills.
