Early morning 5am airport drop off. Booked the taxi a couple of days before with a quick phone call. The driver arrived on time and 10 minutes later we were getting out of the car at the airport. Reasonable price and a great service. Will use again in the future.
The driver was polite, not over chatty and l, even though I had a little under the cost of the journey, let me pay with what I had. Also super fast, took about 3 minutes to arrive. Definitely use them again, much cheaper and more reliable than Uber!
Ordered a taxi from work to the tram stop but the driver would not arrive until after the last tram had left, paid with card and was charged for the journey in advance but had to cancel. Ordered another taxi home again with card and was charged prior to journey, no taxi was forthcoming so again I cancelled before it was picked up. Finally ordered another taxi that took me home, charged for this journey. Called the office while I was in the taxi and was told I would be refunded for the two cancelled journeys, called again next morning to confirm. Was informed this would take 5-10 days. Following week I called and was told the refund would be back in my account wishing 7-8 days, it is now 8 days later and I still do not have my refund, used the company as I wanted to continue to support local cab firms as opposed to Uber… will not be doing so again, tried to call today and “accounts dept is closed so call back tomorrow” getting fed up of waiting for my money UPDATE: it’s is now more than 3 weeks and I still have not received my refund
Driver did not know the Sale area and wanted the postcode of my destination. He drove too fast and I had direct him and tell him to slow down near our destination. Will not be using Scott Card again.
We had an early morning train and pre-booked a taxi the night before. We assumed the taxi would arrive as confirmed but were left waiting 20 minutes. We then called Scott cars who said apparently no such booking was made. The operator didn't seem bothered at all, and told us the next taxi on its way will arrive in 3 minutes. Their so called "3 minutes" turned out to be another 15 minutes. We cancelled and ordered an Uber, which is more reliable. From now on, I won't order Scott Cars and wouldn't recommend them to anyone else as they are not professional.
So they quoted £14.80 for the fare to the airport, only to be told by the driver that £5 is added for the drop off. Be very clear about the costs quoted otherwise this is misrepresenting the facts about the fare. This is not the first time that I have had issues with Scott’s but have chosen to voice my concerns
Taxi arrived on time for early pick-up, smooth journey, polite and helpful driver. Flat rate charge for airport. All excellent, and would certainly recommend. Thanks!
Great service. Perfectly on time, drove sensibly to my destination and fairly priced fare. Would recommend.
After using Scott’s numerous times I phoned to book a taxi for an appointment. They couldn’t guarantee a car but said one might be available. I didn’t want to miss the appointment so I got a lift an hour early and cancelled the booking. I phoned to book Scott’s to take me home after the appointment and the operator said he couldn’t say a car would be available and that “I could phone back”. He said I was a bad customer for cancelling the first one. The drivers themselves are excellent eg helping me with my crutches, parcels etc - but this man who answered the phone is appallingly rude and unhelpful. Do not use them.
Taxi was 5 mins late but that’s understandable. The driver was talking to someone on his phone when I got in the cab. I said hello but he carried on his conversation and blanked me. I told him where I wanted to go and as he wasn’t listening, he dropped me off at the wrong destination. I was happy to get out and walk as the smell in the car was very offensive. I could still smell it when I got out of the car. Really do not wish to have that driver sent to me again.Service: Limousines
