I had a really good experience at Scotiabank Theatre. I went to watch the Reminders of Him movie. The atmosphere was nice, the cinema was clean, and the staff were polite and helpful. The seats were comfortable, which made it easy to enjoy the movie, and the sound and screen quality were great. I also liked that the whole place felt organized and welcoming. Overall, it was a smooth and enjoyable movie experience, and I would definitely come back again.
Scotiabank Theatre is located on 817 St James St in the Polo Park area of Winnipeg. This is a very nice theatre with a full concession stand, arcade/games area full of various games, including Nerf arcade, air, FX, smart Taj Mahal, as well as ice ball and many other games. The concession stand is available to sell you overpriced items raging for popcorn, candies, milkshakes, and soft drinks. They have an IMAX theatre here as well. Staff is friendly and parking is free. It’s located minutes from Polo Park Mall.
Caught a Sunday morning showing with a few friends and honestly it was such a chill way to spend the start of the weekend. The seats were super comfortable and the auditorium was basically empty that early, which made the whole experience feel pretty premium. The screen and sound quality were both excellent, like genuinely impressive for a regular multiplex. Definitely becoming our go-to spot for a laid-back Sunday outing before grabbing lunch somewhere nearby.
Apart from other customers being rude, the experience was great! The workers in the centre area were very friendly, especially the short Asian girl with glasses Chaira, I think. She was very friendly and greeted myself and others warmingly. She was alone in the front at the time and served everyone quickly and patiently. Would come again!
Saw a movie in imax, this does not hold up to the amazing image theaters previously at portage place. The seating sucks, the chairs are terribly uncomfortable and feel loose and sloppy, very over priced tickets and snacks.nIm going to stick with the theater at kildonan place. Far superior theaters
