Gary was great for opening night of Wakanda Forever. No posters as advertised but was very apologetic, they didn't get them in time.
Watched Wakanda Forever 3D last week in this theatre! What can I say about the theatre other than the halls are big, seats are comfy, the screens are big, and the sound systems are modern and very clear! The IMAX is definitely something to behold; the IMAX audio experience in this theatre shakes you to your very core; it can get loud at times, but this is what IMAX is designed for. If I had one suggestion to make, it would be about the IMAX; it's a tiny amount too loud, like 7% too loud. I wouldn't say it hurts, but it can get uncomfortable at times. I don't know if the theatre can do anything about this, given that the IMAX system is an engineered system with specifications; it's not as simple as turning a volume knob up and down. Still, if something can be done about turning the volume of the IMAX down a little bit, I think it would be more pleasurable. Other than that, great theatre!
I saw BTS Permission To Dance live in Seoul. It was a perfect experience. I was grateful that this concert came here. I'm hoping that BTS: Yet To Come Concert in Bastan on Feb.1 2023 will be here, too. My birthday is seven days later so this would be the icing on by early birthday cake!
Went to see a movie today, first time in a nice while, ended up leaving before the previews were over. Significantly warmer in the theater than outside, no air conditioning running and very stuffy. Ended up feeling very ill and walked out. Ceiling fans were running but to no noticable effect. Pre pandamic I would regularly go to the theater, now I must reevaluate. I did enjoy the popcorn that I was able to eat eat before feeling ill.
James Bond, No Time to Die, fantastic as is the venue. Great seating, well thought out pandemic seating and procedures. Always a great "big screen" experience..... side note it's late October and it was cool in theatre #3, enough so that both of us put our coats on, recommend bringing layers of clothing just in case.
Would give 0 stars if I could. Drove my kids 120km to watch the new Venom movie for thier birthdays and not even 20 minutes into the movie everything shuts down.I understand things go wrong. It's what a company does to satisfy the customer that counts. If you can't deliver on a service offered, it's more than the ticket price we are out. How about you comp your customers concessions or something. Not everyone lives around the corner. I hate theaters to begin with. This just assures I will not be back. There's no place like home!

I've gone to the movies at the Avalon mall for years. Great entertainment and service ni matter what the name on the cinema.
Three stars this round because I wanted a pretzel and there was pretzels in the display case but the cashier was told to tell me they had none. I wasn't in the mood to argue so I didn't get anything. The rest was an experience as one would expect.
I've been going to this theatre for years and never had one bad experience. Delicious popcorn and nachos, amazing sound quality, good projecting!
