Iconic venue and a must visit for any Flames’ fan! I recently made the trip to Alberta for some Calgary Flames games and enjoyed the whole experience. Built in 1983, the Saddledome has a lot of history & old charm to it, as well as a fair share of modern upgrades including a brand new jumbotron. There is quite a good variety of food offerings in the concourse, and the Saddledome staff were all very friendly & professional. Shoutout to Gerald who was ushering in section 108 on the night of January 30 Ducks @ Flames. Thanks for sharing all of those great stories of Lanny, Iggy & Johnny!
Watching the Wranglers game was a great experience. The arena was huge, and it wasn’t too crowded. It was definitely a fun experience!
This place has some serious history, a real one-of-a-kind vibe. The architecture is amazing, super cool to check out. But man, it gets packed during games. Navigating the concourse is like swimming upstream through a sea of people. Bathroom breaks require strategic planning and a whole lot of patience.
Aging arena but it’s still got its charm! Love coming here to catch a hockey whether it’s the Flames, Wranglers or Hitmen!nnLove the happy hour half priced beers you can get up to 30 minutes before puck drop. Also cheaper seats in the press level are amazing
