Scotiabank

This bank has been closed 2 Fridays without warning with the manager saying staff hasn't shown up the first Friday they were closed and this time Friday December 23rd there isn't anyone there at all. They are now closed until Wednesday December 28th. How can a bank that closes every weekday at 3:30 and never opens on a weekend now be closed for 5 days. Stay away from this bank.

The web site indicated that the Richmond branch was open on Saturday from 9:30 am - 3:30 pm. I drove 30 minutes to do some banking and there was a note on the door saying its closed on Saturday!!!! Not happy with the poor communication!

Tellers are amazing ....hours of business not so amazing .The hours change frequently ,I dont know of any other bank that is closed on Fridays and when they are open they close at 3:30 week days its a race to do banking, constantly changing hours .

Absolutely unacceptable service. We went in on Saturday May 5th. The gentleman at the front counter greeted us as if we were an inconvenience. Both the man at the counter and Brenda did not care for our business. They told us we needed to make an appointment to change a current account to a joint account and to call the Scotia number to do so. When we called the Scotia number they said that no appointment was necessary and it can all be done at the main counter. We drove back to the branch and were greeted rudely again. The person at the teller desk walked us over to an advisor who said that she would do the paperwork and it would be processed on Monday. When I asked why it wouldn't be done today she said because they were closing soon. Well, it was 40 minutes to closing. We left the branch, drove to Stittsville and got everything, and more in fact, completed at the front counter in under 25 minutes. My wife already had a profile created and it was one piece of paper and two signatures. Completely unacceptable treatment of your customers, especially when we are looking to switch a mortgage and RRSP over to Scotia as well. Why be in the customer service business if you don't actually want to serve your customers?

This bank makes it's own hours. Open and closes whenever they feel... this bank should just close and stay closed!!!

The old grey mare ain't what she used to be banked here from a child till my late forties gone down hill with staffing and hours Shane to see what used to be a good service fall apart

Worst service ever at a Scotiabank institution. I've never been treated in such a way by a bank teller. She was inpatient and unapologetic. I felt I was treated like thief. I would NOT recommend this branch.

I have been dealing here for many years and I have never had a bad experience at this branch always excellent staff and service Thank you
