This bank is terrible. Our senior financial advisor did not respond to our emails, and wasted over a month of our time. I sent multiple emails, and requested an in person meeting but was completely ignored. Clearly our business is not a priority to them... we will find another branch that is willing to work with us.

I think the biggest problem here is the fact that you can not call anyone at the bank unless you know there ext and if you do it always goes to voicemail, the call Centre thing is no good and takes forever. when i finally got a hold of someone they did help. the person I dealt with for my mortgage threw a broker was very confused and never had my stuff together or was hard to contact if at all
Complete joke of a bank hours are 930am to 2 pm. What kind of place only opens for 4.5 hours a day, how do they expect to service their clients when only open those hours. Must be nice for them to make ends meet being open 4.5 hours a day and also closed on the weekends too.
what a total pain it is to try and get hold of this branch, you leave messages and no one replies, try and phone there and after a long wait someone from India eventually come on the phone and its obvious they have no idea where the branch you are trying to contact is located..

Like the rest of the reviews Scotiabank is definitely not interested in looking out for their clients. This branch also seems to lack the resources to provide good customer service. Called to speak with someone about a matter that would take under 5 minutes to handle. Left a message on a Monday & it took 3 business days to get back to me. They lost my mortgage when it was time for renewal as their interest rates were completely out of line with the market. Now they are losing my line of credit as they are nearly double the interest of their competitors. I'd suggest banking elsewhere.
I must say that the way they keep appointments, and the way they contact you after they fail to keep appointments is awesome. Lmao..... Lots of room for improvement. Time to make a switch in banking. Poor customer service.
I wouldn't give them even 1 star if that was an option. The worst service ever zero human compassion. Bounced my insurance over my account being 6 dollars short when there was 2300 dollars on hold in the account. There was less then 2 days left on the hold. I asked if they could remove the hold so I could afford to pay for medication that is absolutely necessary they basically told me to eat it. The worst bank on this planet by far. I'll be switching asap
Thank you to Olivia Lewis at Scotiabank Kemptville. I opened up my very first account. I was treated with respect and was given professional service. She took the time to walk me through the banking process including deposits in the ATM and using the App and online banking.
