I had an issue with my fathers account, I am Power of Attorney and executor of his affairs I wanted to see his investments ON LINE as I was able to in the past, but for some reason could no longer. The Teller was unable to help ,however, was kind enough to get the manager. She just said I was not allowed and it could not be done. I told her I had been in his accounts and managing his investments previously. She just said well you cannot and I cannot help you. I left confused by the lack of effort and the attitude....I am the manager and nothing can be done. I went to Ottawa, Manager took me in office....within 10 minutes He found a solution and my online issues are being resolved. I hope perhaps next time She learns from this review, and she takes a few moments in PRIVATE with customers instead of showing people in front of all the tellers....I showed this customer who's Boss!
My future bride is from a different province and went to an ontairo branch to get banking assistance and she was met by rude staff and ignorance as well all she was trying to do was reopen her bank account .. n they refused to help her ... worst bank in all of arnprior .. if your looking to do banking do it else where
The people seem lovely but their one and only machine to update your book is almost constantly broken this year which was frustrating before the pandemic as you had to get your book updated by a lovely & helpful teller, the positive face of the institution meaning a return trip to the brnch but now that's not an option so I'm not a happy customer right now to say the least. Funnily enough they don't refund what they charge you to print your book sigh.
Customer service is behind, but other than that it’s a good bank. Thanks again.
Terrible hours not good at all Also atm outdated no option like CIBC to deposit cash automatically without holds Wake up scotia bank most of your clients are not retired seniors
They do what's right for them to make money they dont help you out or think about your best interests
