Service is awful in this branch. Anything else than simply deposit money is an exercise in confusion. And even then it is atrocious. Once my wife wanted to deposit money in her account 5,000 $ cash. They required that she provide a proof of origin !! My wife is a school teacher on the verge of retirement, hardly a drug dealer. They were arrogant about it and when we asked why they did not respond and when we insisted they told us to calm ourselves when the bank employee was the one raising her voice. The culture of this enterprise at least at the Candiac branch is one of arrogance and disdain.
Scotiabank online told me to go to a branch if I want to close a credit account. Went to this branch, made the request in person, one month later, it still hasn't been done. No callback, no email, no follow up whatsoever i had asked for an email confirmation. Called back Scotiabank customer service, was given a name and an extension to someone at the branch to help me out. Phone extension rings forever, and there is no one at this branch with this name according, to their phone book. AVOID!
Very bad stuff and service. The director of the branch Sarah Leblanc is very unprofessional and know nothing about customer service. When I went asking for help she literally told me sorry I can’t not help you because your are not a client of this succursale and what you ask is a lot of work for the bank. Worse bank ever
it is best location before going to Montreal dontown to transfer money to Canada dollar from Bank of America. it is aligned BoA, so you can charge 3% fee when you use ATM. I did exchange c$20 for somecase and it is minimum money you can get from ATM. the bank looks nice and has parking lot. but i spent about 10min to exchange money detouring direction to Montreal Saint.
Very good bank. Has some issues sometimes online but who dosent. Excellent
