Business Advisors here are Not good. Don’t know what they’re doing and simple request takes weeks before they’ll get back to you. Nobody’s ever in office. App is horrible for businesses.
Upon entry ino the bank, we were not greeted. In fact, we were told to wait while 3 tellers had 0 customers.nTerrible terrible customer service.nATMs do not work for other bank users, although they give the option to pay 3.00. They also post on the ATM that you can choose between 5,10, 20 and 50 dollar bills but when I also couldn't do that, I asked why and they told me it's because they don't fill them.nNo apologizes, no nothing.nDon't suggest for ANY banking needs.
Went to the bank to get some Euros for a trip coming up. Three weeks now and they still have not been able to get me any Euros. Like what good is a bank that cannot provide you with physical money. Can you say USELESS.
I love Scotiabank. I’ve been a customer for many years both in Ontario and now here in Alberta. I’ve almost never had a bad experience at the Cold Lake branch, and staff are usually always very friendly. However, the hours of operation are very poor. It would be nice if they’d consider being open til 7pm or 8pm on Fridays, or even a half day on Saturdays to accommodate those who work shift work and can’t make it there before the 4/5pm closing time.
They said they close at 4pm on Fridays, and I got to the bank at 3:44 and there was a lady at door saying they are closed already because there was only 1 teller on and 3 people in line. Maybe if they took the chick off the door and had her working teller they wouldn't need to close doors 15mins early. In all the years I've been banking I've never cone across that. Every bank I've been to lock the doors at closing not 15mins before.
