Went to see QOTSA and was fairly happy with the facilities. Although between the opener and the headliner the main walk way where you get around the arena was JAMMED. not sure if it was because of the amount of people that came in through that entrance, or if stuff wasn’t that spread out.nnEither way, I was happy with the building. Decent sound, great seats. Wasn’t quite surprised to see they were padded. This way my large posterior was comfortable.
Visited this 2011 Canada Games Centre for the New Year’s Eve matinee “Battle of Nova Scotia” junior hockey game Halifax Moosehead vs. Cape Breton Eagles. The atmosphere was electric even though our seats were way up in the stands with an obstructed view. Great in-game animation for all the kids in the crowd.
The arena’ shopping part is pretty old-fashioned and is potential to be a state of the art place to buy food and drinks for the games. The stadium is perfect but not very clean.
The first time I went here, I went to see Queens of the Stone Age. Got cheap nose bleed tickets, but the view was terrible. An employee came over and asked if me and my friend and I could see/are comfortable. She happily moved us down to the bottom row behind the barricades. Just for that, I had one of the best times in my life. Very arena esque, so for what it was, it was nice. The seats were comfortable.
Excellent place !nPlayers delights !nColourful, nostalgic and exciting
