It is a typical events stadium. Nice and clean. Centrally located in downtown Halifax. You will have to pay to park or arrive very early to find street parking. The seats are fairly small. Otherwise, always a good time.
Very expensive beer and amenities. Will be interesting to see how they implement the tax reduction. This new Mooseheads season they increased their food and beverage prices. They eliminated the tax from their posted prices, essentially masking the price increase.
We went to see the Australian pink floyd. Great venue and the band were amazing. The only thing I would say was there is nowhere to go for a smoke at the interval.
Had been there recently to watch ‘Cirque du Soleil - Corteo’ it was a great experience. It is really huge, accommodating a large number of attendees. It was very crowded outside and bit chaotic at the entry gates. Seating chairs are little crowded and very uncomfortable to move if you are seating next to a stranger. It was big queue for the restroom during the break. Parking is a big issue there, need to park at the scotia square mall parkade.nOverall, the Scotiabank Centre is a good venue for a wide range of events but definitely needs an upgrade.
Nova Scotia international Tattoo 2024nVery entertaining 3 hour show.I hate arenas, they're all the same. Seats stacked so high, you need a couple of sherpas to guide you to your seat if you are not, young ,fit and athletic.nAlso it was uncomfortably cold, aircon way too high.Good lighting and sound for show but otherwise a dull, drab concrete ediface selling way overpriced merchandise and popcorn.First visit as a Scottish tourist.Won't be rushing back.
