After a mistake with a previous order, I reached out and Kathy went above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction. For my daughter’s first birthday, I ordered a flamingo cake and tropical themed donuts and everything was done to absolute perfection! Our guests raved about the tasty donuts especially the raspberry filled ones!. The flamingo cake was almost too beautiful to use for the cake smash, but my daughter sure enjoyed it and I did too! I’m already thinking about what to order for her 2nd birthday - I’ll be a lifelong customer now that I’m addicted to that raspberry filling!
This is the best local bakery that I know of. My parents have been going there for years. Just walking in the door I immediately felt a warmth like a kid, of fresh pastries and bread.. I have no photos of there displays.. was in a hurry.. definitely recommend, and find out what they have to offer. Being fresh and unique, will cost a little more, but worth it. We always leave happy.
Onion buns are phenomenal, donuts are to die for, prices arent crazy or out of this world especially for the quality of product you get, the store is clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. All around 5 stars!!
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AT THIS BAKERY! Stopped into this bakery today Friday and purchased a dozen donuts. When the employee rang up my purchase I was told it was $30. After the initial shock of such a price for a dozen donuts wore off, I hoped they would be the best I have ever had. THEY WERE THE WORST! Did not even taste like day olds, probably 2 plus days. Save your money and do not stop here.
The apple fritter donut is fantastic. A unique looking specimen with the perfect ratio of apple & cinnamon. Yum!!

This place can be dangerous because of how delicious their pastries are. Absolutely delicious donuts and breads, and extremely friendly staff. A wonderful shop to have in Hanover.
They have the best bread here ever! The oatmeal and sourdough loaves have quickly become our fave. Also love their date drop cookies. We were going to use them for our wedding but covid prevented us from moving forward. They provided us with a tasting sample at no charge, which very much impressed us. A must visit spot!!!

**Never use this bakery for gender reveal** For our second baby we decided to find out the gender and thought a special way to learn it would be a special family dinner with “gender” cupcakes for dessert. My cousin agreed to arrange the cupcakes order through Schultz Bakery in Hanover. She made it clear this was a surprise, and requested they take extra care to keep it that way no leaking icing etc. She called the day of pick up to once again remind the bakery that this was a surprise and the mom to be was the one coming to pick up the order so she begged them not to let it slip. They assured her for the third time, it would remain a surprise. Upon picking up the cupcakes with excitement, I walked into the store, said who I was and I was there to pick up my gender reveal cupcakes. The woman working found them, looked at them, and passed them to me. The box of cupcakes was labelled “BOY”. Complete idiots. Needless to say they single handedly ruined a very special surprise and moment for our family. Will not be a returning customer obviously and would never recommend using this bakery for any special event.
