Stooped in for breakfast had 2 eggs overeasy with sausage links white toast and home fries with onions. Restaurant was clean, people were friendly and helpful. The food was great salt and peppered eggs and eat them down. Found out they made their own pies so had to try one went with banana cream pie, crust was flakey and tasted great and so did the filling. Definitely worth the trip Parking: More in rear of building
Wow! Yummy- very friendly staff and “home atmosphere.” I ordered the Denver Skillet with Raisin bread! Bread was delicious, definitely recommend the raisin. Skillet was cooked perfect as well, have to admit one of the best breakfast diners in town! Hidden Gem-!
This is my favorite diner, the food is so good! The staff are always attentive and kind. The cooks are so quick to get the food out no matter how busy they are.
You are not going to find any gourmet food here. However, this is one of my favourite places to establish for breakfast. I always enjoy the coffee, atmosphere, and the customer service. There is no putting on airs here. Very low-key. Probably the best diner in the Fox Valley area. I typically spend $20-$30 for two individuals here.
Waitress was great and super attentive. Ordered a mexican omelet with no tomatoes, and I saw the cook put tomatoes on and scrape it off... when it came to me, you could see bits of tomatoes and the juice on top. I have a low-grade tomato allergy, so I had to ask her to send it back. Bad call on his part. The omelet was very good, though, and pricing was good. We'll be back.
This is my absolute go-to diner in Appleton. Keep in mind, if you go during peak time, you may have a wait, but it will be worth it. Firstly, they know how to make American fries; secondly, they are always courteous and focus on giving both a homestyle experience, with a homestyle atmosphere. Also, Jennifer is awesome. She loves taking care of her patrons and always keeps the coffee flowing. I have yet to experience anything less than a great experience here. I live within multiple diner establishments, but this diner is worth the drive. Parking: A lot of parking in the back. If you are waiting for a table, ask for a cup of coffee... they will accommodate
First timer, I ordered takeout. It was Buttermilk pancakes with sunny side up eggs, potatoes and sausage. Definitely will me my stop for brunch. Thank you!Food: 5/5
If you’re looking for a great classic diner-this is it.
Worst place I have ever been. Super unsanitary, poor customer service, and I should really contact the health department regarding their cross contaminations of food. Needless to say it got sick later that night and will never go back to this place. Lastly, not a single person cooking food wore gloves or hair nets.
The dark atmosphere takes you back, everything is perfectly cozy. The food is top notch, cooked from scratch and tasty.Food: 5/5
