Amazing views of the marina and very nice wait staff. Probably the worst cheese curds I’ve had so far in all of Wisconsin. Pretty sure the cook wasn’t paying attention to the fryer. They were empty and dark curds and no comp was offered even though we didn’t eat them and mentioned the reason. My burger was seasoned to death as well. The fish sandwich that the hubby had and the girls burger seemed to be what was promised. This is a rather large establishment and it wasn’t terribly busy when we visited. I don’t know if they would be better or worse on a busy day but I’m not sure I would visit again given the other options in the area. Maybe it was an off day for them but overall I wasn’t a fan.
When my trip leads me to the Port Washington area, be it for photography, stop at Duluth Trading Company or just touring the area. My usual lunch spot will be the Schooner Pub. Great bar fair, with some of my favorites the buffalo burger. Brat burger or pizzas. Attentive staff, and a great place to view the marina during the summer from rear deck which they enclose as needed.
Delicious food. Friendly and helpful service. Incredible view of the marina. Great atmosphere. Parking on the street. Easy to find. The Black and Blue Burger is the best! WOW! We will go back the next time we are in Port Washington. We highly recommend Schooner Pub!Recommended dishesBurger
I've been here several times for drinks, and always had good drinks, kind staff, and a fun time. Tonight I didn't feel like cooking so I called in for dinner. It wasn't anything fancy, a ham and cheese sandwich, with onion rings. It was delicious! The ham was nice and hot, cheese perfectly melted, and the bun was soft and warm. The onion rings were awesome too, my cat pulled one off my plate and ate half of it lol. I might be headed back tomorrow night to try the fish fry, those are my favorite and I've heard great things about Schooner's fish fry's
We waited a bit too long to get acknowledged. We actually had to go up to the bar and say something. The food was delicious and when the server got to us she was great. **update I can't figure out how to reply to the owner. This 1st picture was from last year in May my 1st time at Schooner Pub and the second one was from May 9th this year. We arrived at the restaurant around lunchtime. I hope you find the paper you need. Features: No masks are required.
Busy! We arrived during the lunch hour but got a table right away. I ordered the perch sandwich and my husband had the brisket sandwich. Both were delicious! The buns they are served on are light and delicious! Which I truly appreciate because I do not like sandwich buns that are dense and filling on their own. Service was great as well!
Schooner Pub has one of the best atmospheres in Port. Beautiful deck that overlooks the marina, excellent menu and great bartenders. Can’t beat their burgers.Recommended dishesPerch Sandwich, Burger
Went for lunch today for the first time. You can sit and look out over the beautiful marina while you eat. Food was fantastic and the staff very friendly and clean. Price was reasonable.
It’s an all out plain & simple local pub that has better than your average fresh food & beer! Give them a shot you won’t be disappointed.
Such a wonderful, out of town spot. Rarely do I head to the small town of Port Washington. Milwaukee is small enough. However, my husband and I like to make it a point, to see what the country folks have to offer! Anyway… we ran into bartender Katy. What a treat. She was professional, fast, made an amazing drink & even lugged 2 buckets of ice. She finally admitted her age!! She is 50!!!! Dear god!!! We thought she was 30 by how energetic, funny and strong she is. She was friendly, charismatic, witty and professional! How did you land this woman?? Are you on indeed! Instagram?? Snap chat?!! Bars/restaurants are DYING for good help. How did you get her and why is she staying?? What is your secret??? She needs to be poached!! She’s amazing!!!! Ps…. You have decent food!! I HIGHLY recommend.
