Schoharie County Sunshine Fair

I have been going to this fair for over 50 years. It hasn't really changed much except for getting more expensive. Of all the local fairs, this one is still my favorite. Something about it that keeps me coming back. The grandstand shows are always great unless it's raining, they get canceled. The tractor pulls are always a great show. The fair is normally packed solid on tractor pull night. Most of the exhibits are the same every year. They always have a decent selection of normal fair stuff. Such as games, vendors, food, rides, and shows. Admission price includes grandstand admission for most events. Overall, it's exactly what you would expect from a country fair. Make sure you bring the kids.

Great fair to take the whole family to. For one price, you can see all the exhibits & ride the rides. Something for all ages. Great raffles, too!!

Very nice festival. Much larger than expected and the food trucks were better quality than most festivals. Disappointed a though with the announcer for the Demolition Derby. It was clear they were inexperienced and at one point, the officials were still on the track when the announcer let the cars start up again

I go every year with my kids and always have a great time. I love the fact that its now pay one price and ride all day. Definetly worth it.
