Most people commenting aren't reviewing the trail but they're talking about Brimley road.. the trail is decent I used to walk it everyday usually not busy somedays you can own the whole trail afternoon time-3pm lots of variety in animals from blue Jay's to snakes coyotes n even deer. You can see the whole lake from certain points. Lots of nature. It's a point to point trail plus loops in certain points for dog walkers if they need to get their yards in.
When you go here, don't drink water, coffee, tea, or any liquids. Because you will have problems going to the washrooms and you will have to return home early. All washrooms were dirty and extremely unhygienic. I have never seen such a dirty place in Toronto. The long lines made the situation much worse. The city needs to do better at keeping public bathrooms clean and free of germs.
Beautiful wide sandy beach with a good bike trail
I believe that this pin location is talking about the bad hill portion of the full trail and I agree. I hope the city redevelops this but I think they resisting as it will draw more traffic. This area already gets so full that police block the road way during most weekends once the parking lots are full. They could still improve the bike and walking path from top to bottom and I hope this poor rating for this portion of the trail will get official attention. Yes, it is a really long way from the top all the way down, especially if you are on foot and heading to the beach. Take water and snacks as there are no stores and only the one restaurant at the bottom. Please do not bring glass to the trails and please, always take any trash out or at least to the nearest bins which are provided.
Its a dangerous trail to walk but for a photoshoot, this is a beautiful location.
