Sawall's is clean, the staff is friendly, they make a point to carry many local brands, and they have good fresh produce. They do a quality job of balancing food allergy type stuff, health food/veg stuff, and ethically sourced/natural stuff overlapping, and no easy task I'm sure. There is a pretty wide variety on everything from raw ingredients to fully made and individually portioned desserts, as well as house plants, household cleaners, cosmetics, and more. If you want any of the above, Sawall's should probably be a staple grocery stop for you as it is for me. I have a lot of food intolerances and specific preferences, and although I can't find everything I want here, it is definitely the best solution anywhere near Kalamazoo.
I come here for some select items. The woman at the checkout is always so sweet. Try the Brinery Sea Stag sauerkraut, the homemade tortillas, hope curry hummus, and last but not at all least, the Saffron to go meals.
Very cool place with unique foods. If you have a food allergy or restriction, I bet they have it here! Store is very clean and the staff is helpful!
Always a good selection of products that are hard to find at other places. It is so nice to be able to go here knowing that there are TONS of gluten free items that I cannot find anywhere else. Prices are a little more than big box stores but it is worth going there to avoid crowds and leave with items you need.
My family and I absolutely LOVE this place! Tons of healthy options, and they are sure to have what you are looking for. The fresh flower bouquets alone are worth the visit. Highly recommended. Best market in town!

I've been here a few times and usually can find a handful of great deals for my gluten free diet. I couldn't imagine being able to come here to get all of my grocery shopping done for that would be quite pricey, but certainly I can visit to load up on snacks, local baked goods, and unique brands I haven't tried before when they are on sale.
Had not visited Sawall Health Foods in years and didn't realize they had a deli. Wow! Best food I've tasted in quite a while! And the customer service was beyond compare! I needed help finding turmeric and not only one, but two employees helped me find exactly what I was looking for. I can't wait to return.
First time at Sawall store, very impressed. Very helpful employees. They also have a wide variety of health items, organic foods, gifts and a deli. We got everything we came for and more. Lots of bulk items also.
A bit pricey but quite nice. Nice folks.
