Owners Alex and Phil Kinsman have strong entrepreneurial spirits, positive attitudes and a passion for delivering high-quality cuisine, making them quite the powerful team. This has enabled them to grow Saving Thyme from a small catering business, operated from their home and rented kitchen spaces, to a now beautiful, inviting, and quaint store at Appleby and New St in Burlington, ON. Saving Thyme offers a gourmet in-house menu, ranging from breads & pastries, soups, salads, sandwiches and more, as well as an extensive catering menu.
Alexandra Kinsman is a professional chef, with over 6 years of experience. Her passion for French-inspired cuisine began while working under mentors Georgina and Fraser, owners of nationally-acclaimed Quatrefoil Restaurant in Dundas, ON. From this experience, Alexandra has carried with her a commitment to quality food and a unique experience.
