We arrived to the bakery wet from rain and were greeted with a warm smile and a willing to help. We considered what to order and were given a taste of the raspberry pie to try. We ended up ordering a hot drinks and an almond croissant which was very tasty. Self-service on the place. The atmosphere is very pleasant with a beautiful view of the sea. There is seating inside and outside. Highly recommended.
The best chicken pot pie I’ve ever had! Such a warm atmosphere and beautiful view. The food was absolutely delicious and worth the visit! One of my favourite places that I tried in Tofino. Will definitely be returning! Super recommended
This place is a must go. Might be the best pie I’ve ever had. Our group had the strawberry rhubarb crust to die for, lemon buttermilk berry insane, chives scone a standout on its own, but a great savory add, and a brown butter caramel cookie chewy and yummy. Staff was great, spot was great, you need to go.
At the time we visited there were no chicken pie options, so we ended up choosing some of the other options. I’ve never had a pie of lemon buttermilk with berries before, so grabbed the ‘safe’ option of Guinness pie as well, both pie slices were amazing! Highly recommend!
The baked goods are scrumptious! Try the Cinnamon buns, the breakfast sandwich and the scones. Did I mention the cinnamon buns! Great view of the harbour.
Pies to die for! Also they have tasty soups of the day and the most delicious bread I ever tried. Oat milk based latte was delicious as well Now, knowing that they have a second place in West Vancouver, I would visit them quite often
Om nom nom! Loved the emperor's scone and would recommend having it. Also had a great London fog as well. So good The cafe itself has pretty chill vibes and the staff were attention and friendly.
Find this wonderful place on the West end of Tofino. They cheerfully serve delicious, healthy, beautifully presented and carefully prepared food. Sitting on a their patio with one of the best views in town, I especially enjoyed a well toasted slice of their kitchen made sour dough bread with a sweet jelly/jam. Being from Texas, I know nice. These folks are the best kind of heartfelt nice.
I really wish we'd discovered this place sooner during our trip to Tofino! It was a bit of a trek down quite a steep hill, but we eventually found it and I'm so glad we did. The drinks to the pie to the pastry; everything was wonderfully delicious! We ordered quite a bit and even took some with us because it all sounded so good. We started with a slice of the the chicken pot pie, a slice of strawberry rhubarb pie a la mode, a cinnamon roll, a hot cross bun, and a breakfast sandwhich. The crust on the pies were flaky and short, crumbling away in your mouth as a crust should. The filling on both the chicken pot pie and the strawberry rhubarb pie were excellently seasoned; not too stong on any one flavor - perfectly balanced. I love a good breakfast sandwhich, and this one came with an interesting jalapeno relish that was sweet rather than hot. So good! The cinnamon roll was quite nice; no dry outter ring, just soft slightly gooey goodness. We took a tourtiere pie with us for the next leg of our journey. The staff were kind enough to give suggestions on how to reheat the frozen pie in our hotel with no oven. Even heated in a microwave, this meat pie was excellent! The crust was still wonderfully buttery and flaky. I'd never had this pie before; I'm grateful this was my first experience. All in all, this is a great location for some delicious food. Great staff, excellent fare, yummy drinks, and a great view of the harbor.
Started our day with a couple breakfast sandwiches and cappuccinos which were absolutely incredible. The cappuccino was so good that after eating we walked through town to shop and then went back for a couple pieces of pie and two more cappuccino’s. The pie was delicious as well. To touch on other people’s reviews about the price, it is expensive but you get what you pay for and everything we had was worth every penny.
