Story

The Nekos family has been well known to many in Ulster county since 1901. The first Nekos pharmacy was established in 1949 in uptown Kingston, NY. The owner of Saugerties Pharmacy is Peter Nekos, R.Ph. He is also the owner of the Boiceville Pharmacy in Boiceville, NY (est. 1991).

We have just opened Saugerties' newest (and only) independent pharmacy in the same location as the former Beadle's Pharmacy. We believe that the best way to become part of the community is to continue old friendships and build new ones. Our primary job is to provide friendly and personal service to your community.

We look forward to bringing you the very best in community pharmacy services. We have the staff to spend time with all of our patients. Kelly Davis, R.Ph. is our supervising pharmacist and lifetime area resident. She has extensive pharmacy experience and has worked in Saugerties at both Village Apothecary and CVS Pharmacy, as well at Dedrick's Pharmacy in New Paltz.

Some of our services include providing immunizations, home medical equipment including: mobility products, professional quality orthopedic braces and compression garments, wound care products, bathroom safety equipment, home diagnostics, and a full line vitamin department. We will provide expert counseling on prescriptions and over-the-counter medicines. We accept most insurance plans and offer delivery service. We also stock greeting cards and have a gift shop.
