I've been coming to this camp ground for 2 years. The owners are always friendly and nice. There's free go karts for kids, a kids fishing pond, and playground. Dog friendly with an off leash area for dogs. Nice picnic area, and a beach down by the river, where kids can catch minnows. River tubing is great, nice way to relax and spend time with family and friends floating down the river. A shuttle service is provided. It's close to 2 towns and there always lots to do around the area.
We visited for a weekend of family camping with 4 adults, 5 children all very young. The staff were extremely friendly and obliging, even helped coordinate a tube ride down the river. We had hoped to stay in a dome but it wasn't ready at the time of our rental - hopefully we can visit again and try one. Instead, we had a regular tent and a yurt. The yurt was comfy and gave some area of containment for the kids. Everyone enjoyed the size and privacy of the sites, the proximity to restrooms, and cleanliness of the whole park. Thanks for the memory making trip!
Its been ten years since I've been this relaxed. Such a convenient location and well thought out. Love that there's lots of room between sites. They seem to be on the ball for security as well. Our daughter turned three and she was able to catch her first small fish . Well be back.
Can’t say enough good things about this Campground and the people that run it. We were married at this campground August 1st 2022 and they couldn’t have been more helpful. From lending us picnic tent covers , delivering wood to camp site and picking up our pizza that we had ordered for our wedding dinner. Perfect place to come with family, Grandkids had a blast on the peddle bikes supplied free of charge. For a charge they will take you up the river and drop you of for a 21/2 hour float down the river on one of their river tubes or if you have two cars and your own tube you can do it without charge , perfect place for fishing , kayaking , canoeing and family fun . We can’t wait to return with all of the family Thank you for making our wedding and family vacation something to treasure and remember with a smile
We just finished a 5 day stay on lot 60 on the riverbank and had an amazing tranquil vacation. We did the 2.5 hour tubing on the Saugeen River which ended right back at our campsite. We would highly recommend this campground. The staff/owners are wonderful!
From booking to checking out, the hospitality was above and beyond. Me and my wife stayed in the new bio dome and it was a slice of heaven. Gary one of the owners was accommodative and super punctual to make sure our stay was the best it could be. Highly recommend and will be coming back in a couple weeks it was that good of a trip!
Just stayed at biodome site 1 for 2 nights. What an awesome find!! The staff and owners are very helpful and friendly, the campground is full of beautiful trees, there is a pond and the camp runs along the river. The dome itself is in a private setting equipped with a deck, bbq, private hot tub, sauna fire pit, lounge chairs, patio furniture and more. Inside the dome is a super comfy queen bed, more comfy chairs, and a nicely equipped little kitchen. Also an ac unit and a pellet stove for comfort too. The whole area is spotless. Porta potty and bathrooms a few steps away. I will absolutely go again. Hidden gem!
We don’t usually post reviews but our experience here was outstanding. Upon arrival everything was super smooth. Our site was private and well maintained. High recommended! The kids loved it. We will be back.
Great camp ground very family friendly they also rent out tubs and bring u to the spot which is like two kh away which it is a two hour tubing ride down the river which my kids had a blast over all it was a great place to stay and the staff was supper nice Playground: Ok play ground Restrooms: They have a main shower and washroom but also have clean portter potty around the park which is great for when the kids need to go Dog-friendliness: This park is pet friendly Picnic area: Great spots to have a picnic
Had a great time with friends. The person at the front who helped me check in was very friendly, and gave me great directions to get to my campsite.
