I moved from new brunswick and came to this school and it has been the worst school I have ever attended, they have no concern for students mental health and the teachers don’t care for teaching , instead they put most work online . A lot of students struggle to find activities to do unless you play sports not to mention the lack of variety in activities, groups, clubs and classes is outrageous. I truly hope this school gets better and learns from their mistakes since most kids I’ve met say they can’t wait to leave and are self aware that the school is struggling . Leo hays high school is the BEST
It’s hard being a grade twelve student and not knowing anything about your prom because the school doesn’t want to be involved. Why is it a issue that the students can’t really advertise at school when there literally the student council. Isn’t that their job and that’s the whole point of it? I find it silly why they can’t advertise on the announcements or even just put up posters about it. It’s not a big deal. Students are just wanting to know how to get their tickets and where it’s going to be. Find it funny how the school wants nothing to do with it yet they are wanting everyone to follow the rules. Do better:/
Please you guys need to update your ancient ways of communicating most present day schools allow texting to report an absence or late notice as long as its from a recognized number assigned to a student.
Im trying to find our first day of school online and its not there how hard is it to take 3 mins out of ur day to put the day we must be there on there website.
When I went to this school for my freshman year, I completed it and was traumatized throughout my summer break. Firstly, In my last quadmester during online school I had a question about science. Simple stuff right? No. Instead of the teacher answering my question I was told to ask a neighbor. Like bro I'm at home? Do you want me to go door to door asking people if they know about the mitochondria? Secondly, grade 9 English was a crime scene. Even though I never listened or did any of the work the teacher gave me I didn't deserve to barely pass. I expected upwards of 90% for effort. Btw if you're reading this English teacher I'm using the grammar YOU taught me. This is proof that I didn't deserve that mark. My English essay was something an angel himself could have written and dropped right into my lap. It was something I poured my heart into and you broke my heart.
