* A number of social activities, including community potlucks, a summer BBQ and Eid Dinners
* Activities for both men and women, including sports nights, Henna parties and other fun events
* Charitable dinners, events and bazaars, as well as fundraising drives for local causes such as the Inn of the Good Shepherd
* Outreach and Interfaith activities including visits to the SMA masjid and guided tours, Open Houses, presentations in the community, and interfaith initiatives such as refugee sponsorship and support and interfaith learning and understanding
* The Sarnia Islamic Academy (SIA), a registered full-time private school. SIA is not run by the SMA but is located on the masjid property and offers full-time Islamic and secular education to youth from K-Gr. 8.
