Went fishing with my son and his best friends. When pond was closing a lot of people stayed and kept on fishing., The fishing was great!! Hoping that they have the kids fishing this year. The children of Yakima need it, lots of fun for all.
Such a cute little park! I love the water views, the tribute to those who served and lost their lives so we could live ours, the trail, the thank you rail car... A hidden gem! So glad I visited Yakima and saw this...

Play ground burned. Park us fine but not if you are taking your kids to play on equipment
Such a beautiful fall day all of the colors changing, Park is very well maintained. The playground is in good condition kids are having a blast running around playing. Everyone else walking is so polite, just out enjoying the beautiful weather.
Nice long : walk , jog or biking next to a river with benches , and a big wooden playground near the northern part of trail along the river . Family or solo adventure awaits, GOD BLESS You
Cute park but lots of homeless, they live in the trees behind the park so stay off those trails.
No play ground equipment any more.
Nice clean, quiet park . Lake area seemed pretty over grown. Well maintained lawns etc
