Ordered the medium sushi party platter for takeout and it was excellent. The sashimi tuna and salmon was fresh with just the right balance of rice and fish, plus a subtle touch of wasabi. The spicy salmon roll stole the show with a bold kick, while the California and shrimp tempura rolls were solid and flavorful. Even the pickled ginger, which I usually avoid, was delicate and refreshing.nnI think they went above and beyond!! I can’t wait to try it at the restaurant.
Stopped by for sushi and went with the Love Boat option. The presentation was nice, and the ingredients felt really fresh. The combo also came with miso soup and tempura as a starter, which we appreciated.nnThe space was clean and the staff was polite. They also offer complimentary green tea—just ask, and they’ll refill it as much as you want, which is a lovely detail.nnThat said, a few things could be improved. The sushi itself wasn’t particularly remarkable—the rolls in the Love Boat didn’t really stand out or offer anything memorable flavor-wise. The interior felt a bit humid, and better air flow or ventilation would definitely help with the overall comfort.nnAlso, the TV was playing the news the whole time, which didn’t really match the vibe. Something more relaxing or ambient would go a long way—because let’s be honest, the news just kills the mood.nnOverall, it’s a decent spot if you’re nearby and craving fresh sushi, but there’s definitely room to elevate the experience.
I had a great experience at Sapporo Sushi. The staff were very nice and welcoming, which made the visit even more enjoyable. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, giving a comfortable and pleasant atmosphere.nnThe menu offered a good variety of options, and the portions were generous — perfect for a satisfying meal. The presentation of the dishes was attractive and showed attention to detail. Overall, it’s a solid choice if you want fresh sushi with friendly service and a clean environment.
The food presentation was extremely high quality. Beautiful spreads and beautifully arranged. Food quality was high and flavours were exceptional but one person at the table began to feel nauseous potentially because of one of the fish elements. I didn’t like the wood barriers that were up between the tables. On the one hand it added privacy. On the other hand, it made it feel slightly thrown together. The service was exceptional. A great meal and a great experience.
For a Friday night, this place wasn’t too busy. I had a good meal here! Sushi was fairly priced, came quickly, and tasted fresh. The servers were attentive and super nice.nnI also got the tempura, but I feel like they could have included more shrimp. They’ve also set up wall-like dividers to enhance social distancing. But beware-if you sit near the entrance, the dividers are a bit above ground so your ankles might feel the breeze from outside.
