So I decided to try this place out finally..Decent butcher shop with decent good variety of meats. Clean place and all but everything is quite overpriced especially for the demographic area its serving. Yes ofcourse prices are up across the board that's a given but extremely inflated prices here. You can find the identical source quality of all of there Ontario meats for minimum 25-30% if you know where to go. Also one of the workers decides to tell my wife that the same cut of steak and lamb chops sells nearly 10x more at the restaurant. Pretty silly ridiculous exageration. Give me a break. Who are you trying to kid?
This place is very expensive. I bought rib steaks a few days ago for $18.99 per pound. It was expensive but a few days later, I went to Fortinos and saw the exact same steaks for $10.99 per pound. I overpaid $8.00 per pound which is a lot of money. I know my meats well enough to determine the steaks are the same. I will no longer shop at Santos Meats. Given today’s grocery prices, it’s best to shop and find better prices. Fortinos meat is fresh and reasonably priced for my wallet.
First time there. Great experience. Very reasonable prices and the owner was very friendly and knowledgeable. Very nice cheeses like a nice pecorino romano that was very inexpensive. Nice little selection of reasonably priced grocery items, too. They even had Brazilian picanha.

With the warm weather lately, i decided to check out Santo Fine Meats. They have a wide variety of custom cut meats that just looked amazing. I purchased the Certified Angus Beef Rib eyes and let me tell you best quality beef in Toronto.
Wow high quality products at good prices
Really Excellent quality meat at a very reasonable price here.. Peoples are not stupid. There are many good reasons why peoples are lined up to buy a chunk of meat.
Always fresh meat and everyone is very nice and pleasant to talk to.
Can't ever go wrong fresh meat and good service. Lots of other goodies too!
