Unfortunately my experience with Santasie isn't very great. I ordered sushi, the quantity of rice was too much and too dense. Maybe I should have expected the quality for the price I pay, or just go to a sushi restaurant instead. The price was not expensive for 16 pieces with 20% off promo. FYI, there is no more buy 1 get 1 promotion. Also the ginger smelled so bad... honestly it smelled like a public washroom... I threw it right away, and even the plastic container had that smell. To be honest, I wouldn't go back again last time when I tried their poke, it was really good though.
Order sushi... did not expect high quality sushi as per the price I paid, but did not expect rotten crab meat and old ginger with tasteless rice Grab meat has rotten taste and smelled bad. Ginger had weird smell and tasted worse. The rice was hard and seemed not fresh. Probably not the place for sushi
Well presented poké bowls and bánh mì, not to mention—tasty. They offer promotions on select days that are basically food giveaways for the value. Give this local business a try!
I love the food at Santasie, I always order a banh mi and I once ordered a poke, it was so savoury. Their food is fresh and so good, the service is excellent and it is budget friendly. The space is very small, there might be space for 4 people to sit but I definitely recommend to order from there!
Ordered sushi platter and chicken bahn mi. The avacado wasn't ripe in all my rolls, so was hard and had an off taste. Had no flavor, even tasted the soy sauce because i tasted no seasoning at all.. The cucumbers had too much skin left on, so tasted waxy. Too much rice/vs inside. Bahn mi could have had more toppings but was good overall for the price and the roll was good. Really wanted them to be good, the staff were friendly.
Amazing smoothies! Made eoth real fruit and the sizes are big too. I loved the strawberry, raspberry, blueberry mixed smoothie. My mom loved the mango smoothie. Great for a hot summer day. They deserve good tips for their kind service as well!
I tried other poke bowls in the neighborhood and honestly this one disappointed me quite a lot. I took the « délice du chef » poke, which in theory should've had tempura lobster, but in the end there was no tempura only lobster. Also, I suppose this was done for esthetic purposes but the shell of the lobster was left in the bowl, taking up a good portion of what could have been more food for the price the poke was to be honest. Oh and on top of everything I asked for milk tea and they gave me fresh tea. I'm only giving a 2 star because the bubble tea was actually good, but besides that not impressed at all. If you want a good quality/price poke bowl in the area, I highly suggest going to Chez Lee at the corner of Queen-Mary and Côte-des-neiges.
Super nice people working there. I didn’t even know about the promotion they had buy one ban mi and get second for free, but the girl at the front was so nice and offered me a deal when some places from my personal experience avoid doing sometimes unless you ask. Overall food is nice and prices are affordable. You can see people there like what they are doing.
Delicious, well-priced food. Super friendly staff! Respectful and conscious of dietary restrictions.
I love their poke bowl. Ingredients are fresh and portion is healthy. The staffs are friendly and made my friends and I feel welcome. I will definitely go back.
